Have any commercials ever convinced you to buy anything?
I was thinking bout how much money is spent on commercials and how copious people own to hear so many of them while listen to the radio or watching television and wondered if ethnic group actually become convinced to buy a product because of them. I can not deem of a product I have ever bought because of the commercial.If you own been convinced to buy a product because of a commercial what be the product and what about the commercial convinced you to buy it?
Answers: The purpose of promotion is brand recognition. If you know the christen of the product you are more likely to buy it.
The same applies to elections. An incumbent have a a better chance of getting elected because the voters read out "I heard of him".
It is your subconscious that commercials appeal to.
Cases within point:
* if you have a runny antenna you use a tissue not a Kleenex.
* Many people still read aloud the Frigidaire instead of refrigerator.
* If you cut your self you use a bandage not a Band-Aid.
* Kool-Aid is a brand of instant non carbonated drink.
The record goes on.

Most recurrently I do not respond to commercials.
But those darn food ads catch to us at times and we dash rotten to get the most modern burger.
Wendys has a double burger for a buck.
There are masses products that are advertised that we use and we might perceive that the commercial has no stance on our choice. However, when given a choice between a product that we're not familiar beside and one that we've heard or see a commercial about, we'll probably pick the one we've hear of.
Think about when a product such as the IPod, Iphone, Wii, or other item is first introduced, we are influenced by it short realizing it. Although the commercial may not brand us run out and buy it right away, eventually when we do get prepared to buy that type product, we will base our decree on the fact that we own at least hear of the IPod or IPhone.
Smart consumers will compare the less used to product that may not have adjectives the advertising near the popular one and make an informed conclusion based on the product features and price of the two.
I don't know honestly. I habitually times will watch a commercial and if its interesting G00GLE anything was advertise. Other than that I flip the channel. I loathe when you are watching something and the lastest tummy trimmer pops us.
LOL, Did you see that AT&T commercial? The one about glorious speed internet. Its not that fast. Trust me.
No, I usually glass shop or G00GLE the internet for what I want.
I wouldn't waste my time reading most mindless publications or watching a tube with one and the same mindless drivel on that has be running for 50 or so years using only different individuals and slight variations to the artistic stories.
Everything you own has be advertised - so you be exposed to the advertising passageway before you ever made the purchase and be predisposed to buy that product.
Just because you didn't call Papa John's Pizza the moment you saw their commercial doesn't niggardly the idea of Papa John's isn't within your mind. And assuming there's a local Papa John's in your nouns, if you look in the phone book to instruct a pizza and you see their ad - adjectives the millions of dollars they spend will now come final to you: "Better ingredients, better delivery ... Papa John's"
Want proof? What are the ingredients surrounded by a Big Mac? Who is the King of Beers? Which insurance company is "on your side?"
