That depends on what sort of book you're running with.

How-tos are easy to get publicity for. Just become an entertaining information provider, pitch how your book will benefit the listeners/viewers... and never, never, never sell the book.

Anything else you can get PR for, but it may work better to write articles.
Hello,

Wow! Sound like you're on the right track, that's for sure!

I'd suggest any or all of the following:

1. Put your book on Amazon.com
You can list your book on Amazon.com without any problems, and it should come up just like any other book!

2. Make SURE your website has a "list builder."
You need a way to collect visitor's email addresses so that you can send them newsletters or bi-weekly new offers. Give away the first few pages of the book or something to viewers.

3. Joint ventures are always good!
Study your competition and offer to email your list their product in exchange from them emailing your book to theirs. You may have to give them a bit of comission, but you'll make money without having to sell your book, and you make money off of their product as well!

4. Have a moderate AdWords account.
Start an AdWords account with a low budget - maybe $25 a week. That way, you can ensure TARGETED traffic to your website.

5. Start a blog at www.blogger.com
Start writing on the subject that your book is about. At the bottom of each blog, give a link to your website.

6. Write articles on the subject.
Start writing and submitting articles on the subject to article directories. Put a link to your website at the bottom.

I'd love to actually see the 30 second trailer and website, log onto www.homebusinessresources.info/coursesig... and go to the contact page and leave your info. I'm really curious.

Good luck!

What's the best way to promote a concert without using your own money?

Answers: Find a sponsor - it will be helpful to know what your concert is all about, but if you are jazz band go to beer companies marketing departments; if you are a hip-hop street performers pitch your concert project in front of the biggest local music store .. or radio, etc.
Sponsors are great. You can also have the bands pay an admission fee. (nothing insane) Make sure the venue is promoting.

You'll also want to pass out biz cards at shows with your website on it. On that site you need to be collecting names and emails. Once you have a big enough list you'll just send an email and get tons of people to show up.

Offer free MP3s of the bands or something if they sign up.

But always push people to get on your list.

An autoresponder (the thing that makes it easy) is less than $200 per year. Get one. It'll make your life much better.
Well if you are part of a small business you could market your event for free on TheLocalIndex.com...you could post pics up of your previous concerts and stuff on the site!...its much better than those sites that charge your for the biggest BS ever..

Good Luck

Adding links will facilitate my SEO?

I run a plumbing service company in NW Arkansas. Will count links on my site to high traffic local sites generate a better SEO?

Answers: Not really since it will be you giving the other site some brownie points for linking to them. If they are the ones linking to you, after you can actually see an amendment in your pagerank and hopefully your turn out results ranking

But be VERY CAREFUL -- link ONLY to sites related to you. G00GLE will not want to see your plumbing service site linking to a mortgage company freshly because it is a local company in your nouns. G00GLE in expert has penalize sites linking indiscriminately to sites outside their topic area. Limit your links to sites near similar and related topics

Your gauge should other be: will adding these links be beneficial to my users? SEO should merely be second consideration
No mate, its the other way round. They want to link to you. Adding their association is easy and hence pointless, everyone would do that and hence rankings would be pointless.

Your subsequent question will probably. How do I do that?
This is the tough part. A lot of sites eg runeye.com, forums etc you can do it for free. but try and hold it relevant. Ie plumbing in the plumbing passage. Answer questions relating to plumbing and later add your connect as the source. It does not have to be within your region.

You can then try directories that are online, again free.
connect exchange with these companies is tough cos you wont own anything to offer. Since you dont enjoy traffic.
It's called "External 1 approach links" you can make them or buy them.

G00GLE: SEO friendly 1 road linking service

The place I use is called "submit edge"

But earlier you go and start tying to grasp some ranking, do you know what keywords bring in the biz?

Run an Adwords fight first before you do anything. If you don't know what turns into money, you'll never know what to optimize for, if you don't know what to optimize for you'll spend time, vitality and money on zilch.

Free Method: Write articles, submit them to directories (www.Ezinearticles.com) and make sure your anchor set book in your bio is the keyword you want to be prearranged on G00GLE for.

But don't move at all in need knowing what words mean brass for you.
If you think that those links will be willing to your viewers, put them in. If you ponder they are valuable links, your reader will click on them and tell race that your a reliable source of information, increasing your web traffic and thus increasing your page ranking.

Bottom string, no, adding links to soaring traffic sites won't get you a superior page ranking. But that doesn't mean that you shouldn't put expensive links onto your website.
No doubt adding intermingle is actually out bound relationship, inbound links are more important. Inbound links that are related to your website matter and are also having honourable page rank and are regularly updated. By calculation links of other sites with large traffic will not boost your ranking to that extent as would be if it was other route. If a high traffic website add your link on its website consequently it would really help your website to gain page category quickly and address list in SERP (Search Engine Ranking Positioning).

G00GLE will not want to see your plumbing service site linking to a mortgage company basically because it is a local company in your nouns. G00GLE link popularity strategy have changed and G00GLE penalize sites linking to unrelated topics, also over doing link exchange next to the same anchor article to promote your particular keyword may bring your site down.

Link popularity is division of SEO and SEO executives need to move according to go through engine changing algorithm, no black head covering technique else you will be caught.
Yes it will. You need to swap links for a better result.

Adding links will facilitate your website but they have to be suitable quality links that are relevant to your site. You can purchase links but I really don't recommend it because G00GLE does its per annum purge of links and people that bought adjectives these links login on day to find most of their links are gone. I would do some article posting to some social sites and place a connection back to your website. It may steal some time but it is worth it. Also be careful when you correlation to some free sites because they my place a "nofollow" tag on your contact so that your website doesn't absorb some of their page ranking.
