Skip myspace for that... use a blog. While myspace is a great traffic site, depending on your clients they could view it as childish and/or stupid. (Is nearby a difference?)

Here's a quick Local Biz Guy Formula:
#1: Blogger. Free, and you build it what you want.
#2: Write an article (300 - 500 words) talking around what you do.
#3: In that article (bio box) you'll use "anchor text" and focus on your keywords to boost your blogs listing surrounded by G00GLE and the other search engines.
But up to that time you do that, find out what people are looking for surrounded by your area. Local trellis biz is amazing... IF... you do it right. If you don't do your home work you'll blow through tons of time, tons of cash and scrape your head wondering why you've simply seen 50 company after 37 years.
Do you know how to use Search Engine Optimization? It is amazing when used for the local biz owner. Why? Because most local biz owners have 0 view how to get online and win.
If you can attain that little leg up... wow. You will have some serious sale.
i think that myspace for businesses is horrible...how masses ppl can find you on a site that is sooo irrelevant...i agree next to the first two answers! The Local Index and blog sites...but then again...what blog sites are righteous is a question!
