Advertising Marketing Questions and Answers

Do pharmaceutical companies within the UK directly peddle to consumers?

I'm doing some research on direct to consumer advertising of antidepressants. i be curious if in the UK ppl see commercials or print ad for medicines

Answers: Nope! The singular medication adverts are for throbbing killers and cold and flu remedies. However, because the UK is public form care, not a soul really needs to ballyhoo to the potential patients, because the drugs deal is beside the government. They pick mostly on the cost and the companies involvement near the economy.

We logically get advert for natural remedies for a undamaged host of illnesses and issues, but because we don't have the outcome, and the UK's pharmaceutical competition isn't as fierce, its superfluous.
No, the ASA (regulatory advertising body) here do not allow it.
Prescription drugs can with the sole purpose be advertised to doctors.
This is an ethical issue, and it is currently one debated to whether or not this should swing. The fact that pharmaceutical companies cant plug directly to consumers means that they use other stealth tatics - this includes giving gifts to doctors, setting up forums online and posing as patients. There have also been claims that some companies own set up charities to highlight illnesses that they hold made drugs for. Prescription drugs can be advertised to consumers within america, so you may be able to acquire some related articles and information online from there.
Drugs that are prescription just in the UK tend not to enjoy a Brand Identity as there is really no point as the public solely come into contact with them on a Doctor's counsel. Anti-depressants fall into this category and so within would be no point being any consumer media hype. Even if the drug has a brand given name like Valium, the doctor would use the chemical label and prescribe Diazepam. As a patient, you are not expected to "Ask" for a drug. Unlike the rest of the world, the UK Health Service and drug law make it terrifically difficult for there to be any interaction between businesswoman and consumer

Answers: Marketing and business.
Go for the digital, if this suites your desire to rub down objects. My friend works for a newspaper (not so glamorous) but pays the bills.

Another nouns is mass communciation if you want to be a journalist for a magazine. Advertising majors tend to focus on what you want to exploit ahem hype. I would go into mass communication. I own taking 2 classes here at state and though not required for my economics major, emphatically an area of interest. I love taking at most minuscule one class that has nil to do with my core, I'm sick like that LOL. JR
It looks close to you did some great research and you already have your answer. The good looks of the industry that you want to go into is that they really look at skills that you developed more than the exact scope you achieved.

I would recommend pursuing a scope in something i.e. closely related to what you want to do (and luckily you already provided yourself a list of scope choices) and just focusing on the specific point of the industry you are dedicated about...honestly the rest is up to who you know and luck.

Some amount recommendations could be broadcasting, marketing, business, or even style design...it honestly depends on what YOU KNOW YOU ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT. That way you know you will succeed easier and do more...plus your credentials would look better to your future employer.

First ask yourself what is it exactly that you want to do for the agency.that would determine your level choice. Network, network exchange cards in college, obtain some internships, start searching for job now as if you have your degree that course you will know what you will face once you hit the material job marketplace.

Sorry for being long winded...I hope this help some

Sincerely,

CM

PS. As far as college choices...Honestly to me, just don't budge to some crappy school and you'll be fine...its the piece of dissertation you get surrounded by the end that really matter. The rest depends on personal prefrence.

What are Ebay's Buying Habits?

I would like to know more or less what buyers expect when buying on ebay? is it specialty items or discount products? I just want to the nonspecific information.

Answers: Well there is a great deal of general info to be said. People look for everything and anything on EBay. EVERYTHING! Either they expect to find something at a lower price, or they are trying to find something to be exact rare, such as an antique or something i.e. a collectors item. Most people that shop on EBay regularly know they are protected form buying counterfeit stuff, or being scammed. EBay prosecutes scammers on a each day basis. I could move about on and on. Hope my answer helped! :)
