Are META tag late?
I've seen a few articles stating that META tag are dead. That they be so abused and manipulated by spammers, that survey engines barely rob any notice of them in our time. I just finished a network site this weekend, and I was wondering if it is worth using them at adjectives?I've got useful content, I've ALT tagged my imagery, I've got <title>s that relate to my page. Should I bother with the META tag or not?
If so which ones do you recommend, and why?
Please only reply if you are up to date about pattern design and the use of META tags contained by general.

Answers: No, they are not motionless... The Title tag is hugely important. It is what shows within the SERPS, as well as the bookmarks and browser hotel of the end user. A lot of my sites standing well base on the description meta tag. When I poke about for my keywords and see my site listed, a great deal of the time it is pulling from the meta description. Another example. I had a site that be not doing well within the SERPS, so I changed it to a completely different theme. MetaTags are not dead. They are used as description on the scrabble engine listing. When using metatags chew over key-phrases and keywords. Search engines still use metatags but they are not the main criteria used surrounded by ranking. Think of metatags a what is used to rank a website contained by case of a tie.
