Mythbusters, a show on cable/ sat, did a special on these things. I was surprised at how easy the fingerprint locks where defeated. I would have though that they would be better.

Given enough time anything can be defeated, a sledge hammer can knock a door down.
I would invite a couple of security specialists over to show them your sit. I say a couple because some may be there just to sell you a contract.
In some city's the police will send someone over that can make suggestions to you, that service is free.

Answers: Direct Mail and Magazine Advertising are two completely different types of responses.
Magazines are across the world used to 'brand' a product while DM is exactly what the name imply 'direct or immediate response'.
If a personality is running a coupon they will be far better suited to using direct mail. If you want to lend credibility to your company later a magazine ad will be better.
