Do you believe it is unprofessional to own a myspace commentary as your business homepage?
I am starting my own personal concierge business and having some trouble finding a free, flowing web page. So far I hold found some but the easiest so far is myspace. Does that seem unprofessional?Answers: It adjectives depends on the business. If you're a band, no. I cogitate you need to procure some money together and get a material website though. It's not really much. You can get them for as low as $7 a month. Having a MySpace contained by addition to a tangible website is good but not have a real network address is going to look unprofessional for what you're trying to do. Good luck.
Very much so. I would never take you seriously if your business card have your website address imprinted next to " ...conciergeservice.myspace.com." myspace is great for many things but not for your primary business site.
However, I would own no problems seeing your "real" website link on your myspace page. Pony up and spend somewhat cash one a website. I would muse your business plan had budgeted for a website.
My personal evaluation is that you work with what you hold. There are lots of businesses that use myspace as their business site.
You can always hold 2 myspace pages 1 for business and one for personal.
I enjoy seen reasonably a few business cards where the webspace is bar a domain name - so you work near what you got!
who's not to right to be heard that you can get / afford a more professional domain describe at a later date.
If your service is accurate you will get customers regardless of where on earth your website is located.
Lots of people enjoy their businesses on free web sites.
What would be the most successful form of public relations?
I've just started a unsullied business, and I was wondering what is more significant between "word of mouth" advertising or paying an flier agency thousands of dollars to do it for me. (word of mouth is free)Answers: So called "word of mouth" or "Buzz" marketing lately means that society are talking almost your company/product. It's the best form of business promotion, because people are more promising to buy something they head just about from people they trust (ie: their friends).
The problem afterwards becomes: how do we bring people chitchat about our company/product?
Buying time (advertising),beside or without an announcement agency, is one way to start the process, but so are: getting stories written roughly speaking your company (Public Relations), Blogging, and even responding to posts like these! (with proper stern linking :)
The fact is, doesn`t matter what forms of marketing promotions you choose, they all want to be done over time if they are to become effective. Some are quicker than others, but adjectives of them take a carnival amount of time to translate into 'word of mouth'... if they ever do at all.
Marketing is a skill that take a LONG time to master. The good communication is, you are already ahead of the game by asking intelligent question like this one, and attempting to more fully twig the process, before spending your money on any individual tactic.
You can find out more from the American marketing Association's website. The lik is listed beneath the source section below.
Good luck.

Did you indicate ~
"What would be the most [cost] effective form of promotion?"?
Certainly word of mouth is cost effective but paying for public relations has be touted as extremely effective!
Before reading the rest of your quiz, my answer was going to be one word,
"FREEBIES!".
With your followup info, it seem you may be restricted to word of mouth to preclude the thousands. Oh well.
Best wishes~
