Is there another auction on line apart from ebay, ebay is getting very expensive to sell things on?
Answers: The only one i know of is Ebid uk,put it in search web and
have a look
There are a couple (eBid, etc.), but they have very poor coverage and not many people use them.
It depends what you mean by 'very expensive', though. Where else, other than eBay, can you advertise worldwide for only a few quid?
Sell your stuff on MarketWall:
http://marketwall.com/
It's not an auction, but it's free to post a listing and you can sell to people that live near you so you won't need to worry about P&P.
It depends what you're selling. I have had good success with Amazon Marketplace for anything electrical (as well as cds/dvds/books etc).
However, try using eBid for anything else.
Auction Alfie has a useful list of sites for you http://www.auctionalfie.com/best-auction...
Here is a good list of other online trading marketplaces. Not all have an auction platform, many just have fixed prices.

Good luck!
Why not try a different approach to selling and marketing. If you cannot grow with ebay then you have to find another way. Ebay is a business not a friend.
Bespoke e-commerce website to be exact fully customisable?
hi,I'm looking to set up an e-commerce website, initially to sell one loving of product - for simplicity lets read out i'm selling bananas - but i want my banana website to be the best banana selling website available, so I'm going to get a fully bespoke website call www.bananas.co.uk, and i dont mind how much it costs.
However, in the adjectives i want to start selling books. Now i don't want to sell files on the same website as my bananas because they are totally unrelated and that would be silly. So i'd want another website call www.books.co.uk to sell those.
My request for information is, is it possible to use the website design that i paid so much for to put up for sale my bananas, and just regulation the name of the website and customise the logo and the items that i'm selling, but still use impossible to tell apart swish website design that i paid for since?
And if so, does anyone know any bespoke web folks who will let me do this?
Thanks surrounded by advance
Answers: If you take-home pay for your site to be designed, be sure your designer/developer gives you free release and sell you all the similes, layout and data surrounded by the same packet.
Try http://www.windersites.com
They offer their own hosting too.
If you're paying a designer to create your site, they'll own the copyright of the site. Unless they impart you written permission to copy the site to create another one, strictly speaking, you'r surrounded by breach of copyright. You may be able to ask them, as division of your agreement, either for a price that would allow you to do this or that they will do the second one at a exceedingly favourable rate, given they've done most of the work on the first one.
The other prospect is to write your own site, using templates that are available surrounded by software packages such as Adobe Go Live and Dreamweaver. When you've found the template you like, you can customise it to suit your different products.
