Craigslist Question?
If someone keeps flagging your classified ad and you have not violated any of Craigslist expressions of use how do you stop it from being flagged?Answers: That happen to me all the time. not sure how you can stop it. I lately keep reposting, although it's a huge discomfort
I've posted to CraigsList many hundreds of times over olden times decade, and I've only have ONE post "flagged and removed" during all that time. I don't know why it be flagged and removed, but it's important to endorse that the vast majority of legal posts are never "flagged," and most posts which are "flagged and removed" violate some Craigslist rule or policy. Sometimes, posts are flagged and deleted because they violate the "community sense" of what are all right postings.
I have hear reports of some unscrupulous businesspeople using the "flagging" tools to block competitors from making legitimate posts on CraigsList, and nearby are also abusive populace who "flag" posts from others whom they dislike. Craiglist does respond to this situation when properly reported, although it's impossible to completely block this sort of activity.
I must grant that I am skeptical of your claim that your posts did not violate any rules, in member because you haven't mentioned what type of post. I've encountered heaps, many citizens who claim that their posts don't violate any rules, when in certainty they violate multiple rules. I've seen spammers aggressively instil others to post improperly on Craigslist, next to the specific goal of reducing the efficiency of Craigslist as a community resource.
In addition, my caring is that the Craigslist "flagging" system is dynamic, and that users who flag without proof (probably measured by counting how often they flag posts that are not flagged by other users) are assigned smaller amount weight than users whose "flagging" appears sound.
If you truly believe that the flagging and deleting is tasteless, then contact Craigslist and submit a detailed (detailed, detailed, detailed) report, informing them exactly what is taking place, and if you think you know who or why the posts are man deleted, right to be heard so. Craigslist can (and does) block individual users (using several techniques, including IP addtess). But don't refuse their time until you read ALL the terms and conditions and rules.
