How do I know that Marketing is the right field for me?Answers: in good health first u need to know what marketing is adjectives about. (check cooperation below). I chose to major contained by marketing because i wanted to do hype. After i knew more in the region of the field, i also needed to do consumer research (focus groups, talking to society and finding out what they want, how to make a product better, etc). Both of them own some kind of psychological aspect to them (which i also be considering majoring in). If you like promoting things or have a career within business which is creative, i would major contained by marketing. There is probably the most career opportunity in marketing versus the other feilds of business.

Most simple process of decision making is
‘Need recognition’ then ‘Search for information’ then ‘evaluating alternatives’ then ‘Purchase decision’ then ‘Post purchase behavior’.
I hope you understand the process. In brief, customer first feels the need for a product then goes on searching for alternatives and collecting informations then comparing and evaluating those alternatives and then purchasing a final product choice.
Now, in order to affect the decision making marketer has to understand the process and find out from which sources the customer collects informations. It may be personal sources like family members, friends etc. or it may be commercial like sales promoters, dealers, advertisements, magazines, newspapers etc., by knowing the media used by the target audience, company may target that media or source of information in order to create its visibility in the minds of customer.
Then he must know what type of information is required by customer. If the product is a high involvement product (i.e. which is not purchased very frequently, may be involving big investment, e.g. purchasing a computer) then the decision making will be complex and customer will be requiring more specific informations about the product. And if it is a low involvement product (like purchasing soap) then it may not require that much rigorous informations. But again, same product may be high involvement product for some customer group and low involvement product for another. E.g. we said soap is a low involvement product but if our target group is customers who care a lot for their skin then it will become high involvement product. So, marketer will need to know about its target customer group and frame the messages according to that.
Similarly, marketer should also know what rules and methods are used by customers at the stage of evaluation of alternatives. While evaluating, customers basically creates a list of criteria’s on which they judge different product and then priorities those criteria’s in order to rank different offerings. Now, the task of the marketer is to know the criteria’s on which customers judge the product and develop offering which are superior from others on those criteria’s. Or, some times marketer has to find out the strength factor of his own product and project the factor in the market in such a way that it becomes a new and essential criterion for customer.
And finally, when customer is in the purchase stage i.e. finally deciding among the two three options, marketer should know exactly what sales promotion, offer or other activity should be performed at that stage, which can bound the customer to select marketer’s product as the final choice.

I understand that millions of culture are watching so it's great publicity, but why are the commercials supposed to be better than normal? Why wouldn't the companies trademark all their commercials great?Answers: Because the companies don't own to spend several million dollars for every 30-60 second commercial during normal TV programs. Just for a single 30 second spot, it cost nearly 3 million dollars so the companies want to kind sure the commercials are good so you don't flip channel or Tivo through them. If they are going to spend millions of dollars just to put the public notice on the air, they involve to give populace an incentive to watch them. The networks charge so much money for these ad because NFL makes the networks spend BILLIONS of dollars to show the games on their networks. There are so several networks that carry NFL games that no single one have spent a billion dollars on it's own, yet, but the License Fees will a moment ago get bigger. NASCAR is the second most watch sport in the country and their License Fees are over a billions dollars too. The Super Bowl and the Daytona 500 rotate through the networks that take them to give respectively one the chance to host the big event and charge big bucks for the ad to help restore your health the License Fees and operating costs.
They pay mega bucks for the heavens time. They do put out extra thought, money and effort into them.
