What are the most adjectives ways to flaunt on a website and what are some things you can be charged for?
For what and how much?Answers: Types of advertising:
- Banner Ads
- Button Ads
- Text Ads
- Embedded links
Pay structure:
- CPM "cost per thousand" - a duty charged for every 1,000 web people who view the hoarding; ranges from less than ten cents to as much as $100/CPM.
- CPC "Cost per click" or "Pay per click" PPC - you are remunerated a specific amount for each time a consumer clicks from your site to the advertiser's site. Rates list from less than one cent per click to as much as $5 to $10 per click.
- CPL "cost per lead" - you are remunerated each time someone completes a front form (for example, requesting a quote for a new car). Valid current car lead can earn $10 to $50, but most CPL offers rate less than $5 per organize, and many pay envelope less than $1.
- Affiliate - as an affiliate, you are rewarded a percentage of the amount that your visitors spend at a merchant's trellis site.
Everything depends on your site's content, context, audience, and your audience's purpose at your site. I've created web sites that earn $100/CPM (in 1997-1999), but only for a relatively small audience. I've also created net sites that earned $5 to $10 CPM average, by combining several different advertising components (mostly CPC and affiliate) on the site.
Is there any product with true inelasticity of demand? Why or why not?
Answers: Oxygen? Gasoline has shown to have very inelastic demand in the short term, because people have such a hard time changing their habits, but over the long term and in commercial applications where there are other ready options, gasoline demand becomes elastic.
So back to O ... it has no sustitutes for carbon based life so far as know... if we ever have a supply concern I think we will find demand completely inelastic... of course even the you'd find people searching for ways to reduce consumption and conserve, attempting to ease demand... damn 2-handed economists!
Maybe good old fashion crack cocaine or meth...
toilet paper and toothpaste
These may be luxury items in a 3rd-world county, but I think these would be among the last corners cut for those in developed nations.
