Can you sell brand name products on second life and how do you make products on second life?
Answers: If it's your *own* brand name product, then yes you can sell it within Secondlife. However if you're talking about selling someone elses brand name product as your own (like taking clothing from Old Navy, Hollister, Dolce & Gabanna, etc. and putting it under your "brand") then that is frowned upon and there has been some discussion about it being illegal. So you can sell it, but don't expect everyone to deem you the best creator in SL and there's always a chance you can get in trouble for that.
To make products.. depends on what you're making. Clothing requires some kind of graphics program (Gimp, Adobe Photoshop, etc.). You can either draw or photosource (using photos of real existing clothing) but there are people who are more to drawing and others drawn to photosourcing. Other things like sculptures, building houses, storefronts, etc. can usually be done in secondlife itself, although some use 3D programs for more realism.

How do I get a job at a top advertising agency?
Answers: go to a relevant school, build a portfolio, get into an internship program and build some relationships, be prepared to do the work of a minion for the first year of your life.
it depends on what kind of job you want - creative (graphic design or copywriter), account management, etc.
first you need a bachelors degree. for graphic design, major in art, graphic design or visual comm. for copywriting, major in communication, journalism or english. for account management, major in communication or business/marketing. definitely pick up a double major or minor in any of these other fields, because everyone else (i.e., your competition) seems to.
during school, do as many internships as you can. start looking for your first internship for the summer between junior and senior years, and if you can do more internships during your senior year, do it.
after college, one of your internships may turn into a full-time job with that company, if not, more internships = more impressive resume. if you can't find a full-time job right away, you may have to take on yet another internship.
depending on the job you want, the agency is looking for someone who is creative, outgoing, hard working, able to multi-task/work in a fast paced environment, etc. they probably will also want you to be willing to work overtime.
also I've heard that the entry level salaries at top-level ad agencies is pretty low (mid to high 20s). it isn't until you move up in the ranks that you can expect a good salary. just something to keep in mind - it's not a ticket to riches.
apply at one and/or find a head hunter, make positively sure your portfolio of work done in the past is top notch material leave out the work that does not take your breath away... tell people who you want to meet..do research on the companies you are interested in find out who the key players are.remember we are only six degrees away from one another. ADVERTISE YOURSELF FIRST.
