Congrats for taking the first step to anyone fully independent and working from home.
There are a number of things you have need of to take into consideration ...
Do you want to work full time or constituent time on this venture?
Do you hold access to wholesale stock or are you wanting to sell used/preloved items which you can find at garage sale, thrift shops etc?
Do you have the space to store adjectives your stock? (Don't even bother if you're thinking of dropshipping - you will NOT make $$ that way)
Do you own a good digital camera? Don't bother if you haven't get access to one - listings with no photos simply don't get rid of.
Is the category you want to sell within already very overcrowded near sellers and within particular those from Asia? If it is, adjectives you'd be doing is spreading the profit even thinner, which means that you won't build the money you're hoping for ... find a different category/stock line.
If you're thinking of making this a full time scheme you'll need to spend at tiniest 12 hours a day, 7 days a week doing it ... again if you don't put surrounded by the hours, you're turnover will be very meagher. You'll requirement to post your items the same year as you receive payment (esp. prominent if you want to gain a reputation as being a top seller). Even if you write surrounded by your item descriptions that you only post on XYZ year of the week, people receive grumpy if the item isn't posted virtually straight away.
Your item descriptions have to be in good health written with clear photos to guide it ...
Other than that, if you're prepared for all of those things, you should own fun ... as for making money, that really does depend on how much time you put in. Remember though, the profit outside edge on your items, unless unique, is not predictable to be high no business what the product.
