What are the three reasons why traditional marketers enjoy a better chance of survival than pure-coms?Answers: I don't agree that traditional marketers own a better chance of survival than websites. They do contained by some cases. However, it depends on the nature of the business and how all right local stores are managed. For example, the Internet is taking closely of business away from local travel agencies. Online stores are hurting music retailers because the online stores can stock a bigger selection and submission lower prices. They don't have the expense of operating lots of stores.
However, traditional marketers do hold some distinct advantages in some types of businesses. They include:
a. Instant gratification. Customers can own their purchase now instead of waiting for it to be shipped. Returns are easier, too.
b. Potentially better service. You can address to a real soul instead of sending an e-mail or being placed on hold by a beckon center. (However, this is a function of how well the business is manage. There are lots of traditional marketers with very bad service.)
c. The ability to see the product up to that time you buy, especially for complex or expensive purchases. For example, Internet furniture sellers hold generally not be successful. Customers prefer to see the furniture in soul before they buy a bit than base their decision on a website photograph.
