What is the marketability of this product? (please read)?
For a semester-long product, my team and I are considering creating a mirror that can also show information resembling the weather, the time, the headline news over it, to be used contained by the bathroom (either as a shower mirror or over a medicine cabinet). We hold figured out the technology involved, our professors' with the sole purpose concern is with the marketability of this product. Do you construe there are bazaar segments that this product would appeal to? What are they? What call for would it fill? Thanks for any give support to you can give us!Answers: The underlying necessitate is security - knowing the weather keep you prepared and secure for outcomes of possible rainfall, chill, traffic stress, etc.
Mirror is an inevitable part of the grooming rituals for both females and males contained by almost any age group.
A mirror hanging within the hallway or the corridor prime to the outer door is much more compatible with info approaching weather, headlines, traffic details, etc. 'Should i rob the umbrella or not. Hm. Let me check the mirror for the forecast!'
Mirrors in the places where on earth you suggest could be useful carrier of information about proper dental brush technique, cream lotion applying technique, and similar.
[added: marketable to the young professional Ikea-type-buyers segment and house nest I-II lifestyle phase]
Not a bad notion, but you wouldn't want it to be overly intrusive.
If you could figure out how to carry health exactness product companies to support it, I think that could possibly be a money originator. They could advertise their distinctive products and supply useful information such as weather and report.
I think this is greatly marketable because if you tour any new homes that are moderate to glorious priced there is a computer docking station and or a tv contained by the bathroom!
Go to some web sites for bathroom design and look for yourself--I know while I am looking contained by the mirror I am thinking about how hot or cold it is and what should I wear, so if in that was a weather report nearby it would help!
Good Luck!!
Absolutley. I judge I even remember seeing this on a commercial. You could market it to wall street executives, business associates, the luxury market, airports, anywhere that uses TVs and have travelers.
It would obviously fulfill the stipulation of the world's constant desire for information... it's never ending, even while shaving contained by the bathroom.
Please next time. DO NOT offer out your ideas on this. Very dodgy. People can steal and make millions past its sell-by date of it. Delete this question.
How to advertise for a new website?
Answers: The most effective way to advertise on the Internet is
to first set up a website and publish its domain name
on major search directories such as G00GLE.com,
Yahoo.com [at http://www.G00GLE.com/addurl/?... and
MSN.com since 85% of Internet shoppers rely on these
search directories to provide them with goods and
services. In a sense, these search directories are a
very large Internet Yellow Pages.
Nevertheless, should your website or opening webpage
fail to contain "generic" keywords, then anyone using
such "generic" queries will not be able to discover
your website. Your domain name [URL] of your website,
in a sense, will be invisible, undiscoverable.
You may want to consider some simple algorithms which,
when observed and committed in designing of a website
with placement of various critical metatags that can
surely achieve a high search engine presence and
increase Internet traffic to your website. These
metatag strategies work well with published webpages
at G00GLE and Yahoo.
Design: Should you create an extensive Flash-based
website, make sure to fill-in the property entries
such as the Title, Description and Keywords. Failing
to do so, leaves no hard HTML or ALT resource that can
be readily indexed by search robots. Also consider the
Internet audience and their incoming setup. For
example, if they are on analog/dialup, Flash webpages
take too long to load up and therefore analog users
will likely lose interest and discontinue entering the
Flash site. On the other hand, anyone on hi-speed DSL
lines, will welcome Flash pages which load quickly. So
before designing a pure Flash websitge, ask the simple
question, "Who's my end user - is he on dialup or
DSL?" And if you had to choose between these two users
for maximum marketability, then select analog users
since 80% of most resident users are still analog
Internet subscribers and pure HTML designed webpages
is best for them.
A non-Flash-based website which relies on hard text,
is far easier to be indexed by search robots. Limit
the use of stylized text saved as .gifs since as a
graphic, they are not indexable by search robots.
Avoid use of frames since any number of search robots
are unable to properly classify textual material.
Placement of Metatags:
A ranking or search order does take place with G00GLE
and Yahoo and it begins with the "Title" metag which
should consist of no more than 65 characters separated
by commas. The "Title" should describe in generic
terms, the goods and services, followed by a location
from which the resource is located, i.e., city, state.
The placement of a domain name which is not generic
within the "Title" is not appropriate, unless your
domain name is a major recognizable brand name.
The second metatag is the "Description" which is
usually 25-30 words to form a complete sentence which
best describes one's goods and services.
And the very last category - "Keywords" are also
somewhat limited to 15-16 words which can be plural
and compound in nature. Again, avoid multiple entries
which could be mistaken as "spamdexed entries" which
is defined as the loading, and submission of
repetitive words into a particular metatag category.
"Spamdexing" when discovered on a webpage and reported
to G00GLE's spamreport.com can result in the
elimination of your website from their search
directory.
Good luck!
agree with above.

Good Luck
You need to do some market segmenting.
Think hard about who it is that your webiste is geared to (for example, what will be their likely age range, what sort of job are they likely to do, what will be their interests etc etc)
After that, search for other websites that this target market are likely to access.
Promote your website tothese websites and also to as many relevant groups and organisations as possible - try to get their websites to link to your website. You can also offer to write short articles (which mention your website) for their news letters or blogs.
Good Luck!!
To be honest i don't know. I'm in the same boat as you but spend most of my time writing this

This website is great for web advertising. It's a free targeted advertising (based on you selecting various categories you would like to be included in) and link exchange network. You put other websites text ads on your page and yours appears on others. And it really is 100% free, forever. While it's not something that guarantees traffic it also doesn't cost anything, so why not try it?
