It's my belief that Sony no longer puts out a well-mannered product.
Their quality control is frightful, and they are overpriced.
They are trading on the good entitle that they built up years ago, but as more people acquire bad products from them their biddable reputation is quickly loss.
Even if they correct their quality problems today, I believe that they hold already damaged their mark in the eyes of masses consumers and it is going to take profusely of years to repair that.
Most of my stuff is from sony but lately I have realize, they are surely making money using their brand name instead of cutting-edge products.
Other companies also own similar quality products and those are smaller amount expensive...
So if you are the person who enjoy by buying brand-name, you would strongly feel roughly sony but to be honest you can get better deal with other companies...
Sony hold on to launching products with alien features, even though they could have done it adjectives together in one magazine. So they kind of force you upgrade and you have a feeling bad when you bring back to know price of a product which was lately launched and you bought two months rear, is fallen by 20-30% or more...
These are dirty devices adopted by product companies (by it Apple, Sony, Microsoft etc)... Go for a product which is complete within terms of technology and features etc..

Sony no longer creates state of the art electronics products. But it remains a key player in India because of branding and public relations. Its been rather a long time since Sony introduced something cutting perimeter like the Trinitron surrounded by India.
But as far as product quality and after sale service is concerned Sony does not leave much to be desired.
