Are social network sites a virtuous place to find lead?

I was purely wondering if Social Networking sites are a good road to find leads. I be thinking about using MySpace to puff my business "College Network Travel" but with so copious distractions I keep thinking not a soul will really notice exactly what it is that I'm trying to capture across. What do you think>

Answers: Hi!

I would disagree with MAX. Adwords are for experienced race, who have done carrying out tests and research with ad and so on...

Social networking works but it demands that you establish upright relationships(that means putting time in) and it can be vastly powerful!

One of the best resources that I have found is TrafficEra.
It's a social network community, a blog, traffic exchange and discussion forum all within one!

Hope this helps!

Yea, if your willing to spend the time on it, it'll payoff.

It ain't a immediate fix, you'll spend a lot of time, repeating yourself, approaching adding friends to multiple accounts, researching your target audience, carrying out tests, and most importantly interacting with the community at life-size.

Myspace has gotten drastically very on trying to deal in stuff and as a result have made it pretty difficult.

The trial thing at the moment is Facebook, I hang on to hearing stories give or take a few how people are making money stale of strong profiles.
how about you forget MySpace and focus on the lead from Facebook.
It is for students, very clear design, have groups where you can merge and promote your business, offers bazaar, link and video sharing, and thousands other features.

It is a moment ago wonderful for your purposes. I'm currently making a research on Marketing and Advertising on Facebook at a blog called biz-tips-spot near thoughts on how it can be used as advertising vehicle for lead generation.
did you every try this social network site:

that's what i use all the time. it's glib to use and very powerful
Myspace was not designed to be a commercial website and you could win your profile deleted if you puff and annoy someone. You would do better to go to some of the business network sites. At least you don't run the risk of getting contained by trouble there or have your profile deleted.

I contemplate all these sites be in motion from free to premium and have planned the levels you requirement to do what you want.

Bizprenuer (free)
Direct Matches (no need to budge higher than the $9.95 a month)
Home Biz (free)
Ryze (free)
Adlandpro (free)
Ojeez (free)
Digg (free)

These are newly a few. However, in adjectives honesty I have never found internet exposure to be very influential, whether it be spamming in a forum, group, individual on social networks, sending out emails, safelists, etc. Most people are out at hand spamming their deal -or public relations as some call it, and are terribly rarely interested within what you have to propose.

I think you are right - too plentiful distractions - no matter where on earth you go. You inevitability seriously compelling ad copy to bring relatives to you or something other than the 'hey, come tie together or fly with me'.

If I can abet further, just tolerate me know.

Roughly, how much could you trade name from selling on the internet?

I would just approaching to know an approximate amount, iam wondering if it is worth starting up an advertising business, only advertising other websites

Answers: Advertising where on earth, for what? Are you talking in the region of creating a web site and earn money from advertising that appears on your network site? Or are you talking something like buying ads on net sites or search engines? Or maybe you're thinking about creating your own personal ad network or brokerage?

I know of remarkably popular, high-traffic web sites beside loyal audiences, who struggle to earn 10 cents per 1,000 pageviews. I know of other sites that easily rake surrounded by $10 to $30 per 1,000 pageviews. In 1998-1999, I ran a site that generate more than $100 per 1,000 adviews, for much of its traffic.

Of course, in writ to sell exposure based on traffic (or clicks, or sales), you must first hold traffic, and that's a challenge by itself. Many folks regard that if they just post some banner on a page and post it on the internet, the money will start rolling in. But nobody visit pages resembling that (at least nobody who's going to buy anything).

It's adjectives about context, and audience, and purpose, and message. You've asked an abstract grill, and the answer to your abstract question is, "nearby is no limit to the intangible amount you might make from promotion on the internet." But at least 90% of associates who try to make money through internet media hype FAIL, and the actual figure might be superior than 99%.

If someone is trying to sell you a program or bundle or ebook about making money through internet selling, check out my article at http://www.MarkWelch.com/affiliate-arbit... which explains why most folks who do this don't make money.
