Advertising Marketing Questions and Answers

What is the possession for mark up a "regular" price surrounded by proclaim to pile it on a false "sale"?

I have found a website media hype a book as "33% off" for $19.97. The publisher's website lists the suggested retail price as $19.97. Is this crooked? Is there a special marketing word for this unscrupulous practice?

Answers: I've hear it called gouge...don't know if there are any other name.
Yes, its called "false advertising".
Or, "lying".
"Fraud" comes to mind, but I judge you're right. There is another term that marketers use but I can't take out it.
Its not illegal, the capitalist has a SUGGESTED retail price, and if someone is dumb satisfactory to fall for the false markup, overinflated price and replicated markdown, they get what they deserve. A retailer can go an item for anything they can get for it.for example, the relations who sold their Nintendo WII's for way over open market value...it is frowned upon, and regularly leads to the businesswoman cutting past its sell-by date the supply to the offending store. There is an old axiom, "Let the Buyer Beware".which means its up to smart consumers close to you to know how to read a price tag and be an well-read consumer. Furniture stores and jewelry stores are famous for this giving of practice.and people crash down for it all the time. No one who have a SALE all the time is giving the best price adjectives the time. The best deals will be at places that enjoy fixed prices about 80% of the year, afterwards have sale a couple times a year.

Also, have you ever notice that the stuff in the stores the light of day after Thanksgiving isn;t the same as the merchandise they usually fetch? Thats because they buy junk that looks approaching the regular stuff, but is inferior in talent, and it costs them $10, they mark it $40, later give you partly off! Its not like as their regular $40 item, or they would be losing money selling it at half past its sell-by date right away. Better to wait for failure of season sales on characteristic brand names instead of stores "private labels" aka generics. The genuine deals are when the stock is picked over at the closing of the season.

Anti-Smoking Entertainment Funding?

Hello, I am a student at the University of Arts and I am getting a degree within screenwriting. I've written a short script that is intended to be view at youtube and myspace by the younger generation. The production be up and running last slop, but, for some reason or other, the clay animator established he didn't want to do the project. I've talked to some other animators, but it is appearing that the lone way that I will seize this made and out into the viewing audiences is if I find someone to finance this project - surrounded by other words, I need to contract some animator to do this short show project.

I've done multiple web search to see if I could find an organization that funds such products, but so far I've come up short. I would really appreciate it if someone could administer me contact information of an organization that funds these types of projects.

Does anyone hold experience near "Custom Dropshipper"?

I was wondering if anyone have had any experience beside www.customdropshipper.com ? I have be on Cafe Press but I love Custom Dropshipper's cheaper prices. However, there is a valid lack of instructions and communication when trying to set up a shop.

Any info I could catch (good or bad) would be appreciated.

Answers: There are hundreds, perhaps thousands, of different drop-shipment companies, including tons who offer custom printing or "print on demand" for items.

Some switch issues: who handles customer support? Who handle returns, and how?
