Someone who is okay established, like Geico (for instance), would even lend credence to a site - that they believe adequate people hit it to create an ad worthwhile here. Some little guy no one ever hear of would have the contrary effect.
A site with no marketing at make people dream up, aahh, this is a site that stands on it's own - doesn't need "help" to survive. Or they suppose it's "purely" educational or informational.
