Okay, I have a clear perception of what I'm going to invent. But I don't have the materials to brand name it. My question is: do I have need of materials and set up my invention on my own to show it to a company so they can patent it? Or do they only listen to my idea and try to brand name it for me if I don't have the required materials?Sorry, I don't know much in the region of inventing. Answers: you exclusive rights it yourself through the federal government. if you bestow the idea to someone else, they will take home it and you will be left out of adjectives of it, especially the money. you will need to turn on the website for the patent organization and they will tell you how to do it. unsophisticatedly, print out a form, describe invention in great detail, payment fee, and correspondence. be careful, at hand are those out there who will do it for you for a duty. they are a scam. you can get a prototype made at a company, but you will hold to pay them to do it - depending on size and complexity, it could cost as much as $250,000. try to spawn a prototype yourself, and then try to find a businesswoman, but make sure you official document it first!
