When charging for online public relations, do I count entire site stats or singular files individual advertise on?
I am trying to properly charge advertisers for their space on my website and podcast files. My website is comprised of podcast files and webpages. My podcast files have frequent more views than does my webpages.I own decided to create an e-zine to place on my podcast feed and charge advertising space inside of the e-zine. I also want to allow advertisers to lay it on thick on my webpages and want to charge a separate fee for those ad.
My overall site stats are much higher than the stats for my webpages. Which stats do I use as a guide for potential advertisers? For the podcast files, do I total those numbers and display those? for the trellis files, do I total those numbers and display those? or do I use my entire site stats for both podcast and website advertisers? Should I display graphs from my tracking provider? Do I allow potential advertisers access to those stats or only show them snap shots?

Answers: It really depends on what type of exposure you are selling to the advertiser.
Typically, you offer potential advertisers traffic information to ALL pages of your website.
However, if you are segmenting your announcement space -- e.g. you sell space for your podcasts singular -- then you present the advertiser traffic data on the realize of your podcast.
Advertisers are most interested in the potential make of their ads -- hence they want to know how much traffic your site is reaching (or specific page of your site)
Some big advertisers and ad agencies want verifiable third shindig data. Hence, services such as Quantcast http://www.quantcast.com and Nielsen Netrating are used to bear out traffic numbers.
But no, you don't need to endow with advertisers access to your traffic statistics software -- just giving them the numbers will suffice
One critical factor after you sell the want ad space is TRACKING the campaign. Advertisers want authentic time statistics showing them the impression and clicks their advert is getting.
