An intermediate website developer looking for ways to get more hits. I would similar to to advertise my site for free. What are the best recourses to use that could promote the site. I already use Facebook/Myspace/YouTube to promote it. I know in the order of G00GLE AdWords so please do not tell me going on for that. I have merely over 100 hits which is very disappointing...Oh and here is the site

Answers: You clearly do not have your trellis site properly coded nor have you even tried to use G00GLE's Web Tools to set up a proper sitemap. I bet you don't even enjoy a correct robots.txt installed.
Until you get you site semantically code to pattern standards, there is no want to submit it to the Search Engines as you could be penalized.
Link back on already high ranking sites will grasp you more traffic. I would visit adjectives the online Search Engine Optimization sites and read up on how to do it. They also have profoundly of great online SE tools.

I would reccomend joining a forum and putting a link to your website within your signature. Forums cover many different subjects, so you would probably enjoy little trouble finding one with a area that interests you.
