Two websites near similar subject.?
Will I be penalized by the dig out engines if I have two different sites next to similar themes but target different market? One site is has information, articles, and reviews going on for products with an way out for my visitors to rate the products, and the second site is a niche network directory targeting duplicate inductry. Both have similar keywords.For example: the first site will enjoy keywords like cars, sports cars, prompt cars etc. and the second site will have keywords close to cars, cars directory, cars links, cars sites etc. These two sites are not identical within design, so they are not missor sites. The first site has abundantly of graphis and the second one predominantly has links, resembling a typical directory. My first site is doing well within the SERPS, but my second domain was created surrounded by 1998 and has the keyword as cog of the name. So I want to bring it online and run advantage of it’s age and it's baptize. But I am not sure if this will violate the search engine rules.Thanks and regard.
Answers: It will not violate any rules and you should have advert on each site promoting the other. This will generate more traffic and more money.

No it will not violate any rules, nor will it hurt you within the ratings. If both sites are popular, having links from one to the other will even oblige.

Answers: do a yahoo/G00GLE search for anything your forum is about. try lots variations "pet blogs" , "pet forum" , "pet grooming" , "pet rescue" , etc. anything your forum is going to discuss.
look for forums and blogs just resembling yours. go to these sites, find a forum you'd resembling to respond to and then include a cooperation to your site in the comment. some sites disable links, some will delete you comment if it looks approaching you were lately trying to post a link so form sure to leave "real" feedback surrounded by addition to your join.
