I am a recent college graduate.I have newly joined a small it/multimedia company (been within business for four years) as marketing manager, in that has never be marketing before (all work is from word-of-mouth). I merely joined a framework group but, how can I get clients near little or no cost. My boss is really putting the pressure on to perform!Answers: You didn't mention if you have a website.
1) Start or Review the existing site
2) Get your marketing presentation in primer form for your site: 1 page, 3 or 4 paragraphs, 3 to 4 sentences respectively. Keep it simple, copy is important, but when starting show up your offering. Don't worry around graphics too much at this point.
3) Scan for key words and phrases that would attracted your target audience (do a brainstorming session on who your great customer is.use real name and positions from your existing customer set)
4. Make sure your site title, meta tags and push button words match your article.
5. Add G00GLE Analytics to your site (if it isn't already there)
6. Open a G00GLE a.d.sense Account only up a few dollars within $10 to $100 will do to start. Create a very simple struggle with the Company's moniker, and URL and just a few switch words. This will get the site indexed. Limit the geography close to your shop if appropriate. Think something like using the alternative Map ad if appropriate (more expensive). Very cheap, very unproblematic to run, some assembly required. But, the starter set is scalable to play at a reasonably big level once you procure it going. You are lucky...getting graphics help should not be unyielding for you. That is the biggest problem I have... moral luck.
It sounds like your posistion is going to be a sale one.
You should get a portfolio together next to client references sooner. Then you need to phone around and introduce your company to prospective clients. Wear the rubber sour your shoes.

Your errand title may be marketing manager but it nouns a lot more resembling you're being expected to be a sale person. Marketing take a budget - because marketing precedes you - meaning it go out in front of you.
