3 branding strategies you know?=)?
Answers: Brands were originally developed as labels of ownership: name, term, design, symbol. However, today it is what they do for people that matters much more, how they reflect and engage them, how they define their aspiration and enable them to do more. Powerful brands can drive success in competitive and financial markets, and indeed become the organization’s most valuable assets.
Marketers engaged in branding seek to develop or align the expectations behind the brand experience, creating the impression that a brand associated with a product or service has certain qualities or characteristics that make it special or unique. A brand image may be developed by attributing a "personality" to or associating an "image" with a product or service, whereby the personality or image is "branded" into the consciousness of consumers. A brand is therefore one of the most valuable elements in an advertising theme. The art of creating and maintaining a brand is called brand management. wikped
Branding strategies:
1. concentrate on the product = the consumers should be able to determine exactly what the product is for.
2. go for "name recall" = the consumers should be able to easily remember the name or the logo or the trademark.
3. be unique = the consumers should be able to distinguish it from the other products that offer the same service.
Please inform the difference between Sales & Marketing?
Answers: They are closely related, but different in that Marketing relates to getting the company name/product in front of the target buyers. Sales is the process of selling the product to the customer.
Suppose ABC Widget Company is launching their new product. Marketing will devise an advertising plan and try to create a "buzz" and sense of urgency that people "have to have." The Sales department will have people in place to promote the product, answer questions, handle large accounts and accept the orders for the product.
Large companies have departments devoted to the seperate entities. Small companies like the one I work for - it is all one or two persons job.
Sales is part of marketing. This is the activity where in the goods or products are being sold in exchange for a value(money).
Marketing is a bigger picture because it involves the product, the price, the place(where to sell/logistics) and promotion.
Marketing is concerned with questions like what to make, who will buy the product/service, how much to charge for it, how to promote product/service, etc.
Sale is converting the product/service into cash. Sales are part of marketing.
Sales = I buy something from you therefore you sold something.
Marketing = you telling me about something that you have for sale
