The truth is your business name isn't as meaningful as you may think. I've worked near several graphic designers over the years and it become a very personal relationship - so it's adjectives about helping prospective customers procure a sense of the experience of doing business with you. That's MUCH, much more far-reaching than a name that reflect your products or services.
Your branding and image (as you know) are also more significant than the name of your business. If you can grant people the dint that you're going to solve their problems wrt graphic design and be a breeze to work beside - people will want to do business near you.

How are you positioning your studio, and to whom are you marketing?
If you hope to provide services to, and this is just an example, the motion picture industry you will want to have something targetting that biz. approaching Reel Designs.
I would suggest that you get together next to 2-3 friends (preferably creative ones), and some wine, cheese and a Thesaurus. Everyone is to throw names out, base on the POSITIONING that you provide. No idea one too silly! You can then cobble together some of the more inspired suggestions.
In my experience, this is the best agency of coming up with a signature.
Also, I really liked Bill's suggestion on questioning a name and registering it. Good for preventing adjectives headaches.
