there is a new site out there called ShopIt. People are getting sales from it. It's a store (you can build it yourself or import your ebay store) you can put on Myspace and others etc. www.shopit.com. check it out...
Also go to the stores board on ebays discussion groups. lots of help there.
Best advice I can give is start a website apart from ebay. eBay is a sinking ship for sellers. Citymax has websites for $20 a month last I checked. Good Luck
