Approaching a potential sponsor/advertiser for video podcast?

I am starting a video podcast series. It has it's niche and I know who I want to contact, but most of which are strictly large companies (there are no smaller ones). Some of these include Belkin and Circuit City.

So how do I travel about finding who to discuss to about ads/sponsorship?

What do I bring up to date them/What do they expect me to tell them?

To take home it clear, I am trying to find people to puff on my podcast.

Going from Intern to Employee within Advertising?

Answers:   First google around and see if any of these companies offer an affiliate or interconnect program for bloggers. That would apply to podcasters as well.

As to the ones you mentioned: here is a Circuit City marketing proposal submission form

Belkin is for a time harder to find. Call their switchboard at USA 1 800 2BELKIN and ask for the marketing department mailing address or the location of a partnership application form.

What to relate them is a whole profession discipline unto itself. Maybe you could find an older friend who is experienced within sales. Basically you hold to get bygone the gatekeepers to the decision-maker, convince them to hear you, show them what you have, and tempt them that they need it.
