I just started working at target and I’m have a hard time trying go and get people to sign up for the target credit card point. I know its not a big deal, its merely target but I just want to do economically and work hard and I be wondering what’s a good sale pitch or a good approach to sell it?
Answers: Doesn't Target set aside 10% off if you sign up? That's a big selling point to someone who have a huge purchase. Also, sell the other benefits of the card - don't they hold out rewards back and coupons for the store when you create a certain amount of purchases? How in the order of no annual fee?
I would only take a look at the brochure and what the card in fact has to contribute and sell those points to your customers. But don't be too complicated on yourself, the economy is struggling right immediately, people aren't spending as much and they aren't running out to get hold of more credit cards because they can't afford the additional payments.
You might also want to have a word with your overseer and just mention that you really want to excel and ask for some pointers. Management loves to communicate people what to do, so it will craft you look good to them. Good luck at the strange job.
detail them exactly how much they'll save.. let say the card will endow with the customer 20% off their purchase (i dont know how much it take off, but it does hold off something if they sign up, right?) and their total comes to $100.. speak something like, "would you similar to to save $20 today by signing up for a target red card?" or something to that effect. once nation hear how much $$ they'll be saving, they'll want within. good luck!!
