How copious Blogs?

If your using a blog to promote a product should u have blog's near several providers? G00GLE, yahoo etc?

Answers:
It depends on how much work you want to put in!

Obviously, if you hold more than one blog, you`ll get more traffic, as you`ll hold 2 links in the hunt engines rather than 1 (2 links if you hold 2 blogs obviously, the more blogs you own, the more links you get).

However, the search engines hold what is called a duplicate content cost. If all the blogs you enjoy contain exactly the same content, just 1 will take priority to the scrabble engines, and the others will drop way down the rankings. This is to stop the prod engines getting full of spam, and showing exactly the same content for respectively result in read out the top 10 results.

So if you have more than one blog, respectively will have to own different content. Each site can be based on indistinguishable topic, but you`ll need to reword the content for respectively site, which is a lot of work.

Just wondering if anyone have any ideas which have worked really well within their local pub.Ideas which will really involve the patrons in a fun track. The staff get to run the promotion themselves which would be great experience... so any thinking would be greatly appreciated!
