Consumer: articulate to local software stores (Best Buy, Circuit City) and see if you can buy/get their lists. You might want to phone call corporate, they should be able to dispense you only their customers within your area. Small advert in a daily or online with your contact information as opposing your company's.
b2b: cold call companies contained by your area and ask if they are content with what they enjoy and tell them what you hold to offer. Talk to other sale reps and see if they have any lead for your area. I'm sure they've hear about things, but it's sort of taboo to work surrounded by someone else's territory.
