It depends on what Indian language you want to revise. I speak Gujarati--and there are a couple suitable books on it available from Amazon. There's a hard to find one call "Learn Gujarati" that if you can find it, I highly recommend that one. If you want to swot up to speak it, work like any other lexis. Find a book, go through the vocabulary and hear the pronunciations contained by some audio form. Do it set by set daily. For the writing division, you need to swot the base alphabet first...nearby will be letters next to sounds you will never have hear before. These will give somebody a lift lots of practice to master saying. The construction of most Indian language is pretty simple and formulaic, but there are a few special cases where on earth letters are combined into a untried character.
