Why do I necessitate to bequeath my Social Security # to stop unsolicited communication, spam, etc.?

I called the phone # months ago to stop the cast-offs mail but disconnected the send for when I had to pass my Social Security #. There should be absolutely no want for them to have that information within order to end the tons of mundane rubbish that courses through the Post Office and e-mail systems.

Answers:
I agree with you. Anything approaching that that asks for your social is a scam.

Other Answers:
no, they shouldn't have asked you for your ss#. if this is through e-mail near should be an option at the particularly bottom to unsubsribe. You can enter your e-mail address there to update the database of unwanted e-mail.. if it's within your mailbox, I guess the only picking would be to call them, but again no ss# is required.
Sounds similar to a gimmick. I would have done simply what you did.
That sounds like a scam. I know of NO service that can stop smap and cast-offs mail and telemarketers. That's technically impossible! What is this number you call? Where did you find it?

You can only stop telemarketers at http://www.donotcall.gov

Edit: You CAN grasp off unwanted items mailing list, but it takes a while to give somebody a lift effect. Use this form at
http://www.dmaconsumers.org/cgi/offmailinglist/

Fill it out and print it. File by mail to avoid the $5 tax. This is linked from the US Postal Service.
So that they can steal your identity. There are "Phish"ers who steal your identity and "Card"ers who steal you credit smudge. Sometimes if you're dumb enough, they get hold of both. Their usual modes of action are cyber- emails, fake websites, or bogus, password-stealing "free programs."

Typically this is done by juvenile boys who picture themselves as "hackers" that belong to something called WAREZ groups (pronounced similar to "wares") who initially started out illegally trading software, but own now delve into computer-based petty theft. Think of them as pimply face, street-gang-want-to-be, Internet nerds without a conscience. They would refer to you as a "lamer."

If you give them this information you've been have.
I think it a scam. DO not jump for it.

Advertising Dilemma?

Has anyone wondered why so many marketing firms create a promotion projects based on the notion that 50% of the general public will see it and 50 people will probably not. I be wondering how can marketing firms decrease that probability. Well, closing night when I be watching TV, I saw an add something like Curves, the company which promotes healthy lifestyle. After the append, I saw an add around Harvey's double-whatever burger and kept seeing more food related adds continously.

Now the purpose of that Curves affix and its impact probably dropped down dramatically. Advertisment that compliment each other should not shown near each other. Time slots for add should be catogorized depending what the add is roughly speaking.

Recently, Phillips has produced TV's that stops the proficiency of people switching add. It will automatically freeze the commands until the attach ends. Whoever thought of that idea must be a reall idiot. They should consider my opinion of catogorizing adds on their subject situation.

Answers:
Second that. That's just not how public relations is sold. Purchasers buy advertising for doesn`t matter what channel they want to be on, even what shows they want to run during, base on what channels their target souk watches. Grouping ads together make no sense. Whatever ad you run beside yours is going to effect the buying decision remarkably little. What is going to effect it is whether you are reaching your target market or not. For example, you don't peddle Depends undergarments on MTV or iPods on the history channel, no issue who else is advertising near.

It costs advertisers a lot of money to pinpoint their target bazaar. The last item they're worried about is who else is running commercials subsequent to theirs.

Other Answers:
Good points, I think larger networks already do that.....
Thats how they "sell" to big companies. I work for an exposure agency and can tell you that when you purchase time for a TV want ad - you don't have any control of what products are also going to be exposure during your time spot. So, while you idea have some merit, it would be nearly impossible for the TV companies to only own ads that are surrounded by the same category run at duplicate time.

benefits and drawbacks of franchising?

marketing

Answers:
Franchising incorporates the features of both a start-up and an existing operation. The franchise is the right to sell a product or service. When you purchase a franchise you are primarily paying for the right to market an already established product or service owned by somebody else (the franchisor). Under your franchise agreement, you (the franchisee) are expected to flea market the product/service successfully.

Many franchise organizations also provide extensive assistance surrounded by terms of marketing, exposure, even managerial support. Oftentimes, regulation training and follow-up assistance are provided. In many instances, In auxiliary, you can realize cost savings on inventory items, supplies and equipment due to bulk purchase information made by the franchisor, which in turn is passed on to franchisees. Some franchisors also assist the franchisee within securing financing, while some provide the funding themselves. Franchisees find it easier to convince banks and other lenders to provide loans because franchises are smaller amount risky than start-up businesses. Support can also be given in finding the right location, while some provide the layout, display, services and business techniques that own already proven successful in previous operation.

Franchising could present problems to the business owner. At the onset, the lofty franchise fees required to be paid to the franchisor at the start of the franchise agreement may discourage any prospective business owners. Front fees can field from a few thousand dollars to hundreds of thousands of dollars, depending on the franchise. While some franchisors may require high initial fees, the trade-off may be poor support functions once the operation begin.

In optional extra to the upfront fees, royalty fees are also required on a monthly basis. The royalty fees are monthly payments base on a certain percentage of the franchisee's income or sale, varying between 1 and 20 percent. Note that you still need to remuneration royalty fees even if the business is not profitable.

Other Answers:
Benefits: name tribute, national advertising

Drawbacks: initial upfront cost, need of control, ongoing fees, subject to swings in public confidence within national corporations
Benefits are that you save abundantly of money on advertising because supposedly the cross brand is already out there. There's also a fixed system within place so you have set products and adjectives that. You don't have to verbs too much about supply manacle stuff either if it's something similar to a restaurant or some other place that sells merchandise, not services.

Downside is probably that you don't have flexibility if you don't approaching exactly what's going on. You have to follow adjectives of their rules, which can be a pain sometimes. Also, you own to the fees to the parent.

Send parcels to all your office's ancient clients. Give them an article or something that will interest them and publicize a mortgage or credit seminar. Call this list of citizens and ask them if they'd like to reserve a form. You can advertise but you may not involve to depending on how big your house list is. I did adjectives this and of all the individuals who attended, only nearly 1/4 or less come that saw the ad. Everyone else come after I spoke to them on the phone. It will get you some deal but, most importantly, it will spread good word of mouth just about your company.

Here's the most important sector. Take these new deal to Realtors that like you. If you contribute them deals, they'll do like.

This is one of MANY options. You could work beside local FSBO's by PreQualifying their potential buyers. Or call "for rent" ad and send them info something like investor and commercial loans.
