there are heaps gasoline station pumps that have same thoughtful of promotions. one of the common promotion includes waterbottle. u can distribute mneral waterbottle to those customers who buys say above x litres of gas. try getting the bdays of ur customer who use credit cards. thats not a easier said than done task. once u hold profile information u can send them gifts on their bdays. the offering may be a simple archies card and a rose.

u can encourage ur customers to use credit cards becoz that help u to eep track of repeat purchases. once u have that information u can classify the customers into tiers. speak platinum customers, gold customers, silver customers etc...

ur platinum custmers are more loyl and u will find that concentrating on high-ranking end group will receive u more biz. once u have the date instead of adjectives promotions u can have customized promotions that make ur promotion startegy effective.

i dont reflect advertising any in print medium or on TV will be effective unless u hold a network of gas stations.

if u r a marketing guy u will know what 7ps are. out of 7 ps concentrated upon the superfluous 3ps of services marketing. though this is not a promotional strategy..it will be of great help to u.

Gas is a commodity, i.e. what distinguishes one brand from another is not really substantial to justify price differnces.
