I deposited this check and informed the teller i didnt want to change it until it clears. I even asked him when and how long...Well the check cleared in my ridge end but be later reversed two weeks after that. Now im left holding the sack and i am facing charges! This is unreal, i have several lead i am trying to take to initiate an investigation to stop this article and banking customers expire up bieng the victims. That's a tough one. It's inopportune that you are being charged for this, which make no sense to me why you ARE being charged. Well, capture all the proof you can go and get, like your transaction btwn you and the buyer, the emails (conversations), any proof that you be not at fault. It doesn't breed any sense that they would charge YOU for something that YOU did not issue. I'm in accounting, and if in that is a fraudulent chk, our bank is the one responsible for checking whether or not it is a legal check or not. Ask the bank why it be cleared, because if it was a fraudulent chk, HOW could it be cleared? YOU own no way of knowing if a check is actual or not. Lets see.... Contact your bank and have a chat to the customer service reps. If they can't help you, someone high up should. See wht your options are. You can clear something close to this up, so, don't worry.
