That's a serious responsibility. The nuptial only happen once, and if you don't get the shots only just right then you've get some pissed-off customers.
I think the best point to do is work with another established photographer, or find some other situation to steal photos at weddings where you are not the singular photographer. That way you can build up a portfolio of wedding ceremony shots to show people. You can also cram some of the unique aspects of shooting a nuptials (it is NOT like art photography, it's more resembling photojournalism).
