I AM an public relations and marketing professional, and I think I hold a few ideas to surpass on.
First of all, I'd look into hype on Cable Television. Depending upon your budget, which I assume is pretty extensive if you're looking to market tourism to Romania, I'd run straight to the networks themselves. You can find "The Travel Channel" or "The Discovery Channel" or similar channels that cater to inhabitants interested in other cultures and travelling. You can find them, most feasible, in New York City. You can buy locally from them, or you can contact local cable operators contained by specific cities (New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, etc) and inquire about buying those market individually.
The goal is to target your selling to those people most plausible to spend the money to visit your country. That would include culture affluent enough to afford the trip, and curious plenty to want to make the mission. I don't believe radio works for you. Newspaper is dead, and just anyone reads plenty to make hype in the media worth anything.
I would spend at least partly of the money you have creating incredible brochures near the most beautiful pictures of Romania you can find. Mail these brochures to every Travel Agency you can find. These folks STILL get a huge difference in helping general public decide where on earth to spend their vacation dollars.
Next I'd target online travel sites. You can probably find some appropriate deals beside smaller sites to place banner ad and so forth. Stay away from pop-up's. Most people already block them electronically, and EVERYONE hate them. Spend the money to advertise on the largest travel sites you can afford. It will be worth the money, and much more effectual than using tons of smaller sites.
Beyond that, I would have to know more in the order of your goals and budgets, as resourcefully as some more information on Romania and the tourism aspects of your country to be able to guide you any further.

Really its overpriced to be selling over the I net. Not stylish to pay 25$ after shipping for a Tshirt. You might be better rotten dropping the price to 15$ after shipping on a Tshirt, unless you plan on spending mad lolly marketing it w/ celebrities and events. Maybe you could try giving some incentive like articulate first day of rental free for bright customers, so people can try it out beside no strings attached for the first day (or something to that effect) and afterwards if they like it, they could verbs renting it.

I have kith and kin that are in the want ad business (Carmichael Lynch) and I spent a week shadowing every department.
