i'm passage a business contained by MS where on earth can I find jewelry & purses cheap around here to go?

Answers:
check the internet too. If you do painstaking searches for it - you will come up next to some good things. It does embezzle time though.

Ebay is a good place to step if you are looking for deals. Most of that sort of stuff can't really seize retail prices for merchandise - the quality can be authentic good - but since within is so many others competeting it tend to drive down the price. So good luck shopping :)

Other Answers:
Check local BtoB (Business to Business) directory. Or you can check local directory or internet for importers or wholesalers surrounded by your area. If you buy wholesale, you can obtain items MUCH cheaper than retail, but I think you will stipulation to get a wholesale license.

drawbacks of internet marketing?

Answers:
Personally I think internet marketing is the path to go but if you are looking for drawbacks, its the X factor. Entire weekends where on earth online usage drops dramatically. I am not talking in the order of Christmas, or an invasion someplace where everyone is watching the communication. I am talking in the region of random weekends where on earth a large percentage of the population basically inexplicably shuns their computers. But having said that--- it isn't a big traffic in the overall task of things.

Other Answers:
No one will ever believe a word that you print.
pop ups, spyware, spam, so-called "surveys"
most of the internet is trying to sell you something and is poorly regulated chief many to distrust marketing claims they read online.
From the marketer's perspective:
- it's "passive" - except for email, which have problems of its own, you have no instrument to actively target and contact people proactively. You own to wait for them to click your announcement or search for your vocabulary. This limits your competence to reach life-size segments of potential customers.
- it's a single medium - meaning you're exposed to elevated risk of regulation, market change (like G00GLE algorithm changes, owner "quality of service" changes, etc) that you can't control. Don't believe me? Ask the fax marketers. Ask the telemarketers. Ask the emailers. Even TV infomercials own been outlawed back, and could be again anytime Congress decides.
- not everybody uses the internet! depending on your flea market, it may be less than 10% of your target will ever see your ad. Sure, some market are internet-heavy.
- as others mentioned, trust is a big problem. people tend to trust other medium more than internet. The best, of course, is word of mouth referral.
The biggest single drawback to internet marketing is freight. Unless you have a unusual product that has no competition or you can achieve product almost for free you can't compete with stores.
I sure don't enjoy any of the problems noted above, you just have need of to pick your niche.
People do not really know how big or serious your company is..
Internet Marketing is something risky and some of us gamble for it when we judge that we really wanted to generate money, my suggestion is go for the internet business which requires smaller number of your time and the one that will not make you discern headache with pattern designing, or which require IT knowledge. Second, choose the internet base company which offer you the opportunity and at impossible to tell apart time giving you the convenience to start the business. Third, choose the business, which does not require big money to start it.

How to convince your customer?

Answers:
The best answer I have ever hear is that you must make a luggage for your product or service. Think judge and jury. If you be a lawyer trying to convince a consider or jury to decide contained by your favor, you would need to present an nouns tight case.

The same is true beside customers, you must present your case by sticking to the facts. Make sure they are clear and beleivable.

In your customers eyes, the facts must prove a solution to a requirement. You must be providing a benefit to them if they buy from you. The facts just trademark it clear.

Do this and you will get frequent unanimous decisions.

Good luck, joetheadguy@aol.com

Other Answers:
Tell them what they want to hear. Give them adjectives of their benefits, not yours.

Never use phrases approaching "I think" or "I'm pretty sure." Even if you're wrong, customers want to feel approaching what they're buying is a good choice. Make them construe it is...Unless you're selling crack or your body- you're on your own then. Use testimonials - if you hold previous clients who loved your work, their testimonials can help convince a latest customer to use your product/services.

Same if you can show a history or track record of pleased clients.

Many companies use this technique to convince new customers. Proof is within the puddin'

Have a GREAT product and it will sell it's self.

Testamonials are awsome they serve to support up what the products are already saying.

Don't BS them - be honest and they will perceive much better about dealing beside you. And if you're selling things they may need again - you will gain a repeat customer. Become an enigma, do something different and better than the rest of the citizens in your industry. Be an 'I can person' these individuals get more because they do more. Have tremendous self-confidence and tolerate it show. Think big!

What's the average hourly rate for a senior public relations / medium relations service provider?

Been charging $100 an hour for the past seven years and haven't increase my rates for PR services. The cost of doing business for me have gone up by leaps and bounds, especially the cost of healthcare and the cost of database subscriptions -- similar to Bacons, Luce, Burelles, PR Newswire and such. I'm thinking that $150 to $200 is typical for an independent and senior PR representative (been working since the mid 80s). What's your take on what the average rate should be for PR services very soon - 7 years later.

Answers:
Yes. The provoke is having adequate billable time and to balance the needed research, subscriptions, network, relationships, etc. especially if you are not with a firm.

If you provide specialized services within a market that requirements your skills and experience then you should tilt your rates to offset inflation, healthcare, and overhead. My lawyer, CPA, and other professional services companies raise their rates every 2-3 years. That is more than I do, my clients would resign from if I sent an increase rate letter every two years!

Currently, I charge $200-$250 an hour for branding, product/web usability, and strategic marketing consulting. I hold 17 years experience and live in San Francisco.

We own rates for design and production that are much lower ($75 - $150). But it is common to charge better rates for Fortune 500 companies than small businesses and start-ups.

Look at your competition in your nouns and see what they are charging also.

Other Answers:
Averyage salaries rise and fall depending on location and experience of course. You can check your state Department of Labor website for prevailing wage rates (which are relatively low end) or check wage calculators on varied career websites similar to hotjobs or monster.

Seems like you are charging powerfully into the 'high end' of the market. You should consider increasing your rates unhurriedly each year to cover costs of doing business a bit that such a steep (50-100%) increase.

Or you could raise your rates, charging difficult fees for new clients to 'test the waters' and present a loyalty discount for existing clients so you don't lose them, and gradually increase rates over time.
PR similar to lawyers should be base on quality and experience (previous results) If your results are in that, your customers shouls be willing to take-home pay a higher rate. I would money a rookie no more than $75/hr, while a seasoned pro could command $200 to $250 an hour easily.

However, at the better rates, I better see some results.

How can I create a great newsletter to promote my business?

Answers:
1. Get a Mailing List

If you have be in business for a length of time, you probably already own the workings of a mailing register through existing customers and prospects. If you are new within business, there are copious suppliers of mailing list in the bazaar. It’s a good impression to start small and test the approachability of your newsletter and your current client and prospect list is a great place to start.

2. Have a Newsletter Template

Microsoft Word is a really easy track to create a newsletter.

The mailing method that I recommend involves uploading documents to the United States Post Office website. This service requires any Microsoft Word documents, or Adobe Acrobat Reader documents. If you mail the newsletters yourself, you can choose any method you desire.

3. Get Some Articles

Where to Get Articles: “Where am I going to procure the articles?” That’s always the request for information for small business owners. Generally, small business owners don’t have time to write the articles themselves because of the time demands of their business.

There are oodles great sources of free and low-cost articles that you can obtain the rights to re-print. One undemanding and free source is GoArticles (http://www.goarticles.com/) that provides free to re-print articles on a variety of topics. When you choose this approach, you will involve to include a “resource box” with your article that contains contact information of the productive author. For a start-up newsletter, this is a great way to run because it keeps the cost down, but be sure to read the articles closely—some of these articles are particularly good and some are not. Remember, it’s YOUR newsletter, not theirs!

Another free source is to gridiron with a local college and extend unpaid internships for writing articles through the school’s business or journalism departments. You could also offer a stipend if it is surrounded by your budget. Many students will be happy to write for the experience and even more will write for a greatly small amount of money.

A third source is to hire someone to write the articles for you. While this is more costly, you will most likely acquire a better article. Part of the fee you retribution will be that you own the “rights” to the article and do not have to register the contact information of the original author and it appears as though you are the author yourself. This is call “ghost writing” and it is very popular among frequent famous authors.

A fourth source is to contact your vendor. Often times, they have all set to print what are called “byline articles” that you can join in your newsletter.

Or, you could write the articles yourself. This is really not the preferred road for small businesses because of the time involved. However, it is an option and does suffer mentioning. If you use a re-print service like GoArticles, you might want to own at least one of the articles written by you and two or three other articles by other general public.

What Kind of Articles: Most of the time it makes sense to hold the articles be about your dash of business—for example, financial planners can create articles about financial planning. However, that doesn’t other have to be the crust. I know of one financial planner that has a deeply successful newsletter that contains articles about robustness, spirituality, and career—but never about the finances!

Another successful music store added a part to their newsletter—a calendar of music events in the nouns. This simple one-page newsletter had on one side the calendar of events of adjectives music concerts and on the other side a list of every used piano and price for Dutch auction at the store. Every piano teacher contained by the state got a copy and kept it pinned on the wall subsequent to their calendar all month long—it become a regular resource.

Here’s two more examples of off-topic newsletters: one very successful newsletter for an Italian restaurant contains articles almost travel to Italy and Italian history. Another real estate agent sends out emotionally positive pictures of his family circle and local events. Great ideas, both!

4. Create a Schedule and Prepare Newsletters

How Often Do You Publish: This is up to you, but most studies show that a monthly newsletter works economically. This keeps your business within front of your prospects and customers once a month in a non-threatening demeanour and at the same time allows for a month to prepare the publication.

Choose a diary that works for you, but remember that it is far more important that you stick beside that schedule! Creating a monthly newsletter for a few months and next stopping may have the divergent effect.

How Many Articles per Newsletter: A good and simple newsletter can work beside three or four articles on three or four pages. In the indication I give, I use three page and reserve the fourth page for the mailing information at the printer.

You don’t requirement to “cram” the newsletter full of information—just give a newsletter to be precise easy to read and have useful information.

Prepare Newsletters: With a proper template and Microsoft Word, you can basically drop the articles in place using rough and ready word processor skills. Once the articles are chosen and edited, a simple three or four page newsletter can be created from a template in a situation of minutes.

5. Send the Newsletter Out

I use the United States Postal Service website (http://www.usps.gov/) for uploading the newsletter and mailing. It is straightforward to register an account and upload not single the newsletter but also the mailing record. They print it, they send it.

I can even diary when I want a newsletter to go out—with this tool, I can create three or four monthly newsletters adjectives at once and schedule them to be mail out several months in finance. This way, I don’t miss a planned mailing.

The cost? On Friday, March 03, 2006 (after a recent postal increase), I run a simple quote of a 3-page newsletter in black and white on 8 1/2 ” x 11” paper—the preview “Annuity Opportunities” newsletter. I can send this newsletter to 100 recipient for $43.30 or to 1,000 recipients for $433.00. That averages out to merely over $0.43 per contact, including printing costs. I find that the print quality is immensely good.

There are other option with this service, including color printing, more page, etc. The option special is what they call “Flyer” or “Self-Mailer” and it is usually the preference I use. Also, there are masses fine mailing houses to complete your mailings for you—or you could do it yourself. The control of doing it yourself is that if you use a first class stamp, studies show that it is more likely to be open.

Other Answers:
go to G00GLE.com and type contained by examples of news parcels. search the results, you should be capable of find something that fits your business. good luck.

what kind of business is it? Do you want to do a article newsletter or an enewsletter? The most important entry is the writing. Make it short and punchy. Most likely nation will only read the headline and possibly the first paragraph so make sure everything you want to speak is at the beginning.

On top of that bring in sure the layout is clean and organized, that the certificate isn't too small and include pictures with stories. if you want a free online newsletter check out http://www.merchantcircle.com

they are clean and have a set of tools to serve promote a business.

worth a look.

hope this helps.
