Most ad in some category, such as cars, target men because they are more influenced by the image aspects of a saloon, whereas women, when they are the decision initiator tend to look for safety features, cutback features, ease of use...adjectives things that don't look as sexy on the TV screen. Do women really necessitate more encouragement to shop?
Because men are more possible to buy something impulsively. They want the assured way out of have to decide which brand to purchase. If it looks honourable on tv, then to be exact what they will get. When it comes to cars, men want what they reflect on will impress others. Women, on the other hand, use commercials to see what is available, next they do the research and figure out what would best fit their requests, not their image.
It's the ripened double standard. Most people still imagine of men as the head of the household. It's an extremely outdated picture but there are so copious who still cling to it. I'd like to deliberate it's because men are always watching the TV while women are out doing something more influential. But as a woman, of course I'd resembling to think that, so I do.Women are in standard more skeptical and practical when it comes to shopping, that is why I don't believe it's correct to generalize a commercial as targetting men. I agree that classic sexual category roles suggest that car commercials target men. The broader picture is: hey, you know what, we'll cart whichever consumer is interested. Broadcasting through televised advertisment time slots is time given to the extreme bidder, and then according to promotion research (this is targeting). Traditional family roles be the man works, comes home, and watches the boob tube. Obviously (to me), many/most families survive as a two duty household. Good question.

I am not sure whether to use one full sheet like a magazine page commercial, or a single sheet that is folded twice so it have three "column-like" frontice panels on respectively side, or a single sheet folded once so there are two panel on either side. I enjoy the Copy in mind (more or less) and would approaching to include some photos. I am working with WIndows XP, Word, etc. I solely have Acrobat Reader. Why are you wasting time on it. Hire professional designers to do that. I know some companies who use outsourcing and can do this for your for as little as $20/hr. So it can be drastically cheap - $100-200 if you have everything figure out. Just search on G00GLE or yahoo.
A capably designed brochure can really make the difference and trade name your company come across as very professional.
