How can I create an email schedule so that I don't create duplicate address? (huge weekly database requests help)

I have tons of email address on paper orderforms. I want to create a mail list, but I don't want to distribute duplicates, and I can't screen the hundreds of pieces of broadsheet to ensure I don't enter one twice. Customer List help is needed!

Answers:
One effortless way is to freshly type everything in, consequently you can SORT the list by the an assortment of fields to see if in that are any duplications.

You want to set your fields so they can be efficiently sorted. Don't just enter Name, Address, Phone, but set up as LastName: FirstName: Title: (Mr Ms Dr, etc) CompName: Address1, Address 2, Address 3. City: State: Zip: HomePhone: BusPhone: MobilePhone: etc.

Then once everything is enter, you can sort the entire list by the specific field. For example, if you sort by ADDRESS1, it will show if there are 2 (or more) entries for a specific address number, and you can compare the entries and delete any redundancy. You can sort by Phone numbers or Lastnames, Company name, etc. to check for any duplication as well as typos, inconsistent entries, or missing facts.

Other Answers:
Use Microsoft excel (prefer the latest version), it usually tries to auto complete the notes if it finds a match within one of the prev cells, this channel you can stop the entry and move on.

For a complex solution, you can build a small software using foxpro or vb to confirm the first few letters of what you type againest any prev entry and suggest match againest existing entries.

I'd give the product to 1/2 dozen local high-school kids. Then, I'd enjoy a contest to see who can create the best game. Then I'd rob that contest and try to get the local medium (hometown newspaper, etc.) to write a story around it. PR is the BEST way to receive local awareness up.

Other Answers:

give it to some elevated school kids from varied high school to try it for free. if it catches on, distribute out press releases and see if local media would similar to to cover it. paid media hype is the resource of the uncreative.

http://www.imvu.com/catalog/web_registration.php?userId=1724 The first item you need is a USP (Unique Selling Proposistion). This is a 1 or 2 flash phrase that clearly communicates what makes your English institution the very best, why you are different, and why populace should choose you. It's much more than a slogan, it tells a soul exactly what they are going to get by using your service.

Once you establish a USP, you can build your marketing around that. The best and cheapest form of marketing is direct-response marketing. It's going directly to the nation that are most likely to buy from you. Direct post works great. Determine who your ideal customer is, and later buy a mailing index and target them directly.

Your writing should clearly describe all the benefits your company have to offer. Use testimonials, form a compelling offer, be vivid, be exciting, be devoted and enthusiastic. Offer a referral reward program so you can get your customers to refer investigational customers to you. Just step outside the box, be creative, and go for the jugular!

Is public notice to chidren ethical? (Why or Why not?)?

Answers:
Yes, if care is taken to play balanced. Children don't usually spend the money to buy something themselves, so advertisements to them are within effect advertisements to achieve them to pester their parents for the product. If you simply show the product, perhaps show some children using it (a toy, playing near it), and do not create the impression near is more to it than there is, it seem fair. I know when I be young, in attendance used to be advertisements that showed a sizeable tableau of play sets, and then surrounded by the small print, there would be "such-and-such not included." Or they would show a product as if it be very huge, and when you saw the real point, it was small. There are abundantly of regulations governing advetising products for children now.

But consider the alternative: if they be not allowed to ballyhoo to the children, the only alternative would be for manufacturer of products for children to target all their ad to the parents and grandparents. So kids would not even know what was available, and parents would be sold on the idea of what is "good for" you. Would you like that? It might get rid of some of the most obnoxious toys, like Bratz, but it would also do away with things that are really fun, but not convincingly "educational," like role-playing video games and toy firepower.

Other Answers:
Yes, as long as the ads are done tastefully. After adjectives the children have closely of spending power thanks to the parents. After adjectives, they will be the customers of tomorrow.
