Why do Coke and Pepsi allow bottlers to put their logos on can (or bottles)?

Likewise, while the administration does mandate that the bottler's name and address appear on the can, they do not require that the company's logo be present. It's also be suggested that bottling companies have proprietary technology that soda companies require, and this give them enough leverage to sign the cans. In actuality, Coke and Pepsi already do some of their bottling in-house, so clearly any proprietary technology is not impressively important to talent bottling. Also, the sheer number of bottlers suggests that any attempt by one to extort concessions from the soda companies would just front to that bottler being replaced, especially since can have become a commodity product.
