Advertising Marketing Questions and Answers

Approximately how much would it cost to do a 0:30 second state tube poster on Dateline NBC?

Question:
If you don't know the answer, where might I well find the information? Also, this would exclude production costs as we would handle that separately.

Answer:
Get the exact quotation from NBC. I would hold a media buyer trademark the purchase, because a media buyer is going to find a discounted rate because they are placing a lot of ad, not just yours.

I know that you can draw from lower rates if you ask for Run of Station rates or day parts or darkness parts. The more specific you want the air time to be, the more its going to cost.

Also, its possible that NBC would not vend on a one spot basis, you might hold to sign a contract for one spot a day for a week or a month.

Very expensive stuff. And remember, you own to impress each innovative viewer roughly 3 times before your want ad even registers with them.

Good Luck!
i remember it anyone $3000/minute back contained by the mid-90's for Ch. 11, 5, and 13. It's probably dbl, triple that now. Primetime on NBC will probably be intensely pricey!
Contact them and ask.
fredrick z is absolutely correct.

Hooking up near any media agency is the easiest item to do, however sometimes they won't entertain you if you statement is small. Contacting the media selling dept next to the station would be easier, you can always ask for a rate card if you are looking for a bubble park figure but it isn't adjectives that easy as rates are immensely dependant on timeslot and shows.

3x airing of your ad is useless. If you are looking into TV you requirement frequency and budget. There are other cheaper alternatives.

Are the two guys within the Fusion blade flier gay?

Question:
There are two men in the want ad in an apartment together and not a soul else, no girls. We see the younger guy helping the older one download tracks for his iPod. Then, a voice say:" This Christmas buy HIM Gillette Fusion." Then we see the younger guy standing in the doorway of the bathroom watching the elder guy shave! You could say they're related, but it looks atypical for one guy to watch another guy shaving. They look approaching a gay couple.

There was an aged rule when advertising men's products. You other showed three guys together instead of two in armour people thought they be gay. What do you want, the man looking into the bathroom and a woman shaving her face??

The younger one take it up the 4ss

Why G00GLE CheckOuts have not be so permitted by companies?

Question:
G00GLE is a huge company with lots of successful products and services... they enjoy hundreds of thousands of advertisers as reported, how come 85% or so of their clients rejected the offer to appropriate G00GLE CHECKOUT merchant services? this service has plentiful many advantages for G00GLE Adwords clients and customers. G00GLE currently have just a few hundreds of clients for the service, a service that be mentioned to kill Payal service... I MEAN, What is the basis or what reasons why companies are not taking CheckOuts as a merchant opportunity?

Answer:
I'm an online merchant. I have 2 merchant accounts plus PayPal, and I'm also a G00GLE customer. When they announced Checkout, I go ahead and signed up for it, put the code on my site etc. Since then I've have dozens of transactions via credit card or PayPal, but not 1 via G00GLE. So, why should I bother putting it on my next site?
Its a chicken and egg situation. There is no incentive for general public to use G00GLE checkout. They gotta get the globe rolling somehow.

Paypal started by offering each being who sign up $5 and so people spread the word to their friends to report to them how to get $5 free. G00GLE should do duplicate thing and they should enjoy no pproblems dolling out cash since they are immediately so rich.

I read an article that says" Discounted brands are promotion dependant”?
Question:
i.e they have to flog heavily if they want to survive. so i wanted to ask why is it so?? please abet..

Answer:
"Promotion dependent" refers not to advertising but promotion: i.e. coupons, "1/3rd More Free!" packages, more "coupon drops" and behind-the-scenes deal with the mixed retailers. Simply put, once a brand becomes a "quibble brand" it is forever doomed to play that role in the minds of both the consumer and the trade.
Discounted brands usually hold very slim profit margins - they are driven by volume

I.E: To variety a certain amount of profit, you have need of to sell more items. You take home less money per item, but because you get rid of so many items, the volume of sale makes up the difference.

So logically, within order to vend more items you either have need of to have folks buy more than one, or have LOTS of society buy one.

As the latter approach is more practical (discount items are typically one-off low involvement purchases in my experience) this finances you have to achieve lots of people beside your selling messages - this means have a healthy promotions budget.

Whereas, if your product/brand is a premium one (ie lofty price & high quality) later you are more likely to know how to place a larger profit margin per item.

So you solely need to provide a few items to acchieve your target profit, as opposed to selling a great deal of them. With discount brands you're trying to get EVERYONE to own one. With premium brands, you one and only need to trade a few to make your money, in consequence you're speaking to a much smaller target audience. Which means you can afford a smaller promotional endeavour.
discount is assumed to be a key factor surrounded by selling the product in press.
and now to attract a customer the first entry is to inform the customer about the discount and the benefit the product is offering.
so it become obvious that to inform the customer roughly the cost benefit and the offer the product have to be thoroughly advertised, so that its target audience are informed.

i guess this is wht u intended by

Is it trashy to buy yardsale stuff?

Question:

Answer:
No way! Especially if you are childlike, in college, or not making a grip of money. My roommate and I found an awesome dining room table and chairs for 40 bucks. We also found a couch within really good condition for our modern place for 50 bucks. There's no shame in that hobby. Who has to know?
no
No. One's trash is another's treasure.
No channel, and sometimes you can find the best stuff at a yard Dutch auction. No one would ever know but you where it come from.
Not to me, I like going to courtyard sales, never know what you might find. One man trash is another ones treasure.
No. The world would be a better place if more people bought used items instead of feed the corporate monstrosities that are killing the environment.
no it is not trashy, greatly of people put things out and own no idea of what the physical value of the item is.
Not if it's adjectives stuff. Don't buy clutter. Sometimes higher downfall stuff even! People won't know where your stuff come from and you'll save $$$.
NO ITS NOT TRASHY. SOMEONE ELSES JUNK IS ANOTHERS TREASURE
Not really
you can receive something really nice at a yardsale and for a cheap price
sometimes some things arent so hot but go for the angelic stuf ;)
No.. it's merely a way of getting things for smaller amount. If I buy something that I end up not need, why not sell it?
You can find perfect bargains on used items. I don't guess it's trashy.
no. if it were in attendance wouldn't be so many inhabitants doing it. it's a weekend hobby where i live. the women draw from stuck driving around and the men get drunk. later we go blow a hundred bucks a weekend on christmas decorations and antique stem ware.
You should view the Antiques Roadshow and see the successes on it. If you're so succesful, then you can update anyone who calls you trashy to kiss your $3000 image owning ***.
trashy the better ,,,chep is better
I've seen some pretty nice stuff at yardsalesit adjectives depends on what you're using the stuff for and where the yardsale is.

I be set to if you're looking for clothes just to work outside contained by...woot for yardsales!

If you're looking for collectables...more woot!
only if you buy unwanted items you dont need, its not trashy when the drawing or figurine you bought for three dollars turns out to be worth five million on the antique road show.
One man's trash is another man's treasure (and if you find the right trash you may find big treasure $)
No road. Some of my greatest finds have be at yardsales. Sometimes the people do not know the treasures they are selling are certainly worth a lot of money, and I own gotten some very antique expenseive stuff for correct so no it is not trashy
Noit's not.
You can find some great stuff and great prices.
Happy shopping!!
Only to people who stereotype my friend. And I am not one of them.I love courtyard sales. There is seriously of junk but if you look complex enough you can find some righteous stuff.
No, a bargain is a wrangle...Anyway you can save money at the moment you should. I even shop at Goodwill. I got a $200 telescope for $25.surrounded by great shape
It's not trashy, unless you give the stuff as a contribution and try to pass it stale like you newly bought it at Macy's...

That said, I have bought some brand-new stuff at courtyard sales that possibly they got it home and it didn't fit and they lost the unloading, or didn't feel similar to returning it or whatever.
Why would it be? You can return with some really good stuff. Most of it is crap, but you can really luck out. However, estate sale tend to have nicer stuff.
Absolutely NOT. It is never trashy to rescue money for the same article you would buy at the store for far far less. I progress garage saleing all the time and love it. I find bargain llike the computer table I am using now explicitly glass and metal, for 10 bucks! Not a item in the world wrong next to it except the glass needed cleaning. What a concordat! I know the people compensated at least 150 dollars for it, as I have seen it at a retail furniture store! Yard sale are the best. Nana
Heck no! If it were, would eBay be the massive nouns that it is today? Used doesn't mean useless... I've found tons of bargain at yard sale, some of which was extremely collectible and worth FAR more than I remunerated. More often than not, though, I found something that I needed and the salesperson got rid of something that they didn't and get a couple of bucks in their pocket for doing me a favor.

Check out patio sale listings at www.craigslist.com - they own a bunch of different areas to get one closer to you and it's free! That and they enjoy a ton of stuff for sale from race near you.
If it is I'll purloin trashy any day. I come from a patio sale household. We all hold homes full of beautiful antiques and collectibles and art - as resourcefully as saving a fortune on books, kitchen wares and other household items . I own a safety box full of jewelry, including gold ingots and precious stones, and we all kind extra money selling stuff on ebay.

There are some yard mart items I would consider it trashy to buy, like undergarments, any in part used food and makeup products, personal care items. I own seen vibrators and kinky lingerie for Dutch auction at yard sale, no lie!

The trashy is if truth be told more about the dealer. I was at a courtyard sale ending summer and there be a really nice stainless steel cigar style waste can, looked approaching a Sonoma Williams item...It would have be perfect for the bathroom at the gallery where on earth I was working. I stepped on the lever to see if it worked, and the can be totally full of really old kitchen consume! Now THAT was trashy. I walk out on that sale contained by total disgust!
Hell NO!! tHERE ARE MANY VALUABLE ITEMS SOLD AT YARD SALES FOR PENNIES. Did you hear about the dated Elvis album picked up at a yard mart for 50 cents, then sold at auction for $28,000. I do believe it is taking assistance of the clueless owner
No its cost saving. SAVE SAVE SAVE and you'll see the zero's surrounded by your bank side accumulate.
The first rule surrounded by a successful life is to look right through the millions of critics--either on this questions or a hoard of others LOL
I once bought an mature book at a garage sale for 25 cents and today it is worth over $500.00.
My wife's favorite plaque is a painted picture of Jesus on marble--I picked it up at a courtyard sale for $2.00.
TRASHY? or CLASSY? Who care..
