Question:
In Terms Of:

Salary

Job Opportunities

Ease

Answer:
You posted in the wrong paragraph:-) This isn't about SEO BUT. . .

You are probably splitting hair. Once you get that first chore the rest of this does not matter. No one is going to come up with Economics was a bleak choice v. Marketing v. Anything else.

In Marketing, Accounting skills are more practical than Economics or Finance so I would say Accounting is a better second core if you are trying to get into Marketing. It will sustain you get that first couple of job. It won't make you eligible for more money. Starting salary are rarely flexible out of school and fixed by the corporate parent (i.e, you are adjectives starting at the same number).

If you are thinking you want to be in motion into Investment Banking then Finance or right into your MBA after a couple of years of experience later Economics. Of course other choices wouldn't exclude you per se but those would be good choices.

Good luck to you.
Accounting and marketing would friendly more opportunities for you next on. Also, double degrees usually plan you get salaried more and can help you quickly track your career

A plastic sword would be a nice touch- see if your neighbors might have one that you could borrow. If not, sort an early-morning run to Walmart, Party City, a toy store, etc. They usually don't cost much, and they add a bit to the costume! Finish it out next to dark colored pant and either boots (not lace up!) or shoes in need laces. An explorer probably wouldn't wear them, but if zilch else, you could find a pair of neutral-colored high-heels, but not beside too pointy of a toe.

Only Meta search engines will read your meta description tag and actually use it within the listings G00GLE,Yahoo,Msn all verbs what they think is relivant content for the keyword search and will use that content as a description. As for getting put at the top of the engines that is totally up to the amount of standard incoming links and your page content, focusing on a key word that does not enjoy a lot of compition other helps also. I chew over G00GLE likes the incoming links best and Yahoo and msn approaching higher keyword density.

Whats the difference between Public Relations and advertizing?

Question:

Answer:
They're not mutually exclusive methods of communicating products/services to customers. You can have public relations without PR or the support of a PR firm, for example. But, near are firms that specialize in PR or within advertising, and sometimes near both.

An organization’s reputation, profitability, and even its continued existence can depend on the degree to which its targeted “publics” support its goal and policies. Public relations specialists—also referred to as communications specialists and media specialists, among other titles—serve as advocate for businesses, nonprofit associations, universities, hospitals, and other organization, and build and maintain positive relationships near the public. As managers sanction the importance of apposite public relations to the success of their organization, they increasingly rely on public relations specialists for advice on the strategy and policy of such programs.

Public relations specialists knob organizational functions such as media, community, consumer, industry, and governmental relations; political campaign; interest-group representation; conflict mediation; and employee and investor relations. They do more than “tell the organization’s story.” They must work out the attitudes and concerns of community, consumer, employee, and public interest groups and establish and aver cooperative relationships with them and beside representatives from print and broadcast journalism.

Public relations (PR) is the business, organizational, philanthropic, or social function of managing communication between an organization and its audiences. There are masses goals to be achieve by the practice of public relations, including education, correcting a mistruth, or building or on an upward curve an image.

Advertising is compensated communication through a non-personal medium contained by which the sponsor is identified and the message is controlled. Variations include publicity, public relations, product placement, sponsorship, underwriting, and sale promotion. Every major environment is used to deliver these messages: television, radio, movies, magazine, newspapers, the internet, and billboards. Advertisements can also be see on the seats of grocery cart, on the walls of an airport walkway, and on the sides of buses, or hear in headset hold messages or in-store PA systems – nearly anywhere a visual or audible communication can be placed.

You can read more around both at wikipedia.org.
In advertising you're trying to promote something to put up for sale. In Public Realtions you're trying to get population to see things your method or sway people into thinking the style you think.

The Syko Ward
PR is not attempting to attain the public to buy a specific product and it is either bring awareness of the product or product rank to the mind of the consumer or educating the consumer regarding the product or product chain.. ( PR campaigns ...Got Milk?.Beef, Its Good for You...Come down to Bermuda)

Advertising is designed to influence to purchase a specific product at a faddy price at a particular location and time span.
Both are marketing. Public relation deals beside customers and complaints etc. and Advertising is all the advertisement that you see.
The real difference? Advertising is something you can control - you settle for it and know where it will be and what it will vote. Public relations is about getting the medium to cover your story. You can't control if they'll cover it or exactly what they'll say.
PR and selling are totally separate fields. Anyone who tell you otherwise doesn't know what they're talking more or less.

PR is about direct communication next to the consumer and the general public. It involves lots of break control: people habitually don't know you're there until a scandal or form scare erupts. PR also involves lots of free press social group: making sure articles on your product run in a range of newspapers, a magazine prints a positive review of one of your items. Or that a superstar mentions your brand as agreed on a talk show, your brand cross appears on a float in a foremost parade, etc.

Advertising is the who, what, when, where on earth and why of the brand message. There are 4 main branches: sketch services, interactive media, medium management and creative. These citizens decide what the message should read aloud, who should receive it (purchase radio, TV and internet time), what it should look/sound/feel like, cast for radio and TV talent, etc.
Both advertising and public relations come beneath marketing mix.

Advertising is a paid form of non personal communication beside the customers or target audience.
PR is also paid form but personal communication next to customers.

Advertising communication necessarily happens through a medium - like broadcast, print etc.
PR may or may not come up through media.

The result of the exposure cannot be known without hesitation and can be measured thro research and anlaysis of sales, survey etc and primarily aims at increasing sale or prospective customer base.
In PR the primary focus is on building goodwill among customers and the result can be certain immediately.

Egs of PR: Conducting training programs for the public for social cause, Planting trees, Health camps, Awareness programs for the benefit of public, Sponsoring programs explicitly conducted for some good lead to, Providing industrial visits, Delivering Seminars and guest lectures to students to share the skill etc..
Generally, you pay for public relations. Public relations can be either rewarded for or fr.ee.

There are many ways to acquire fr.ee public relations coverage. You can take module in a charitable event, hold a news story nearly you, give an interview, make a contribution a public talk, educate a class, or get quoted by reporters for some observation you made.

Hope this help.
Regards,
amadeus

For which types of customers is telemarketing more efficient?

Question:
Are other marketing channels more efficient for certain customer types?

Answer:
In responding to your answer I hold assumed that you are referring to financial marketing.

The type of marketing a company uses will depend on the type of customers they are after.

In general the following can be applied:

Telemarketing, epistle drops, internet sales, national press: Ususally the lower middle and working classes will respond to this type of marketing. The target marketplace will generally be the smaller number financially sophistiated and less capably off.

Companies Own Sales staff: A companies own sale staff will target existing customers. This target market is commonly the lower middle classes who have some fixed financial sophistication and some spare cash.

Tied Agents: Tied agents are agents who are tied to only some companies offering mutually exclusive financial products. They tend to target the slightly better off who will own reasonable financial sophistication and funds to invest.

Independent Financial Advisors:
Usually the middle to upper classes will use this type of marketing. They will commonly be wealthier and more financially sophisticated.

The above comments are broad generalisations and the actual distinctions will not be asclearly defined. They should give you a broad belief though.

The main reason for the distinctions is that the different marketing strategies will incur different cost to the consumer e.g internet sales will occasionally have an arrangement allowance, while an IFA may charge a lump sum. Also, more complex financial products are also difficult to sell over the internet, TV, phone etc
Pensioners, & other adjectives groups..
The types of customers who respond to telemarketing are those that do not mind being rung up unannounced to hear someone consult about something that they enjoy no previous interest in!
Some associates respond better face-to-face, whereas others are better able to concentrate by audible range what you have to articulate (and don't necessarily need to see your chops moving). Telemarketing would be most effective for customers who are more low-key, detail-oriented, computer literate (so you can provide them near information via Internet or email). In-person meetings would be most decisive for customers who are outgoing, have short attention spans, and who appear to be more impulsive.
telemarketing drives the average creature absolutely silly - NO ONE likes human being rung during their dinner by some pushy sales twat who wont return with off the phone, starts sour smarmy and ends up insulting you, cant get your heading right, doesnt care whether or not you enjoy a telly, they still want you to buy Sky, etc

I dont particularly similar to leaflet drops, but I usually do at lowest possible glance at them, and if one looks interesting I'll read it

And the pious old pallid pages - if you want a hard to please service, its the first place I'd look - put in a correct, detailed advert
The only relations who respond to telemarketing now days are lonely folks who are inclined to purchase items in charge to have someone to chat with.

The internet have opened a full world of marketing avenues that render telemarketing inefficient. Try building a website and then driving traffic to that site next to metatags and search engine optimization. i believe you will find that even outdated clear per click advertising will own a better return than hiring telemarketers to push your product.

When using telemarketing, you are relying on a strangers ability to read a script to convert sales. A website allows you to target your message and your customer and, when done right will other be more effective than telemarketing. Telemarketing is indistinguishable as throwing money at a wall and hoping some sticks.

Good luck
Well these days loads of culture are on the telephone nouns service, which means reputable firms wont phone them.

So just people not planned on service mentioned above.

Get a marketing book and read about above the rank and below the line marketing.
yes some ancestors don't like unyielding sells. On the other foot some people requirement a hard market in directive to achieve a successful telemarketing business , focus on the soft deal in to get race to see things your road , never tell them what they want but what they requirement and how easy it is to draw from it. and always influence how intelligent they sound, this give them the fake upper appendage
The gullible
It really depends if you are talking roughly speaking business customers or consumers. And if you are talking something like cold calling or calling leads.
In B2B I'd say-so that telemarketing is most effective for managing smaller accounts, i.e. existing customers whose effectiveness (recency, frequency and value of purchases) does not assert face-to-face visits on a regular argument.
In B2C telemarketing is most effective when it follows up lead you have received e.g. by public relations and prize draws. An older audience might be more sensitive as current employees don't really want to be bothered by telesales / telemarketing after work.
