Are marketers manipulate us or lately trying to put up for sale their product. If they are maniplating us, how?

Question:

Answer:
Salespeople "sell" products their companies already made. Marketeers "influence" customers to select their products according to their needs, or if done faster, "discover" what customers want and then produce it. Manipulation is too strong a word for marketeers (as they are more subtle) but is not too strong for salespeople (as livelihood depends on them making the sale).

The used-car salesman would hair the truth in command to sell the lemon but the marketeer would start making 5-wheeled vehicle if that's what the customers want!

Influencing is done through brand awareness (Aspirin but not paracetamol), comparisons (Pepsi claims to be better than Coke but nothing is said in the order of other beverages which are healthier etc), repeated (radio jingles) or selective target (household products are advertised during soap operas see by housewives), and many, abundant other channels. The subsequent time you buy something off the shelf, reckon first: did you select it because of its brand e.g what you 'saw' or hear'. Today, such influences goes beyond smells, taste and touch to experience.
Since I work in the marketing area, I'll say this - we are not trying to rub anyone. Its more that we try to "influence" you to use a particular brand.

And logically you have every right to read aloud no, no, no, no. You are also free to turn the TV or radio off, to alter channels, and to stop reading the the Fourth Estate & magazines.

When the TV is on, my 4 year older constantly asks, gimme gimme gimme. I say No, No No to him every morning LOL
SoftballD... Here a big news for you!...

Yes...they arejust as you tried to rub down me to answer. Right?
You mean black propagandas. Well not exactly. I am a marketer and the agency I do my marketing tasks usually depends on the target audience itself. We make sure that the strategy we are incorporating is base upon what the market dictates. So, this finances that in command for your product to sell, you own to think of your buyers (their preferences, etc.)

marketers are not that powerful to control what customers' thinking or customers' demanding. They are trying to put on the market their products to us, and they also want to produce the products we might want. Marketers need to provide the right price, right strategies and sell it within the right place to the right person.

What are you doing to oblige stop Macy's?

Question:
We all know that Macy's runied Chicago's history buy renaming our beloved marshall field to Macy's what are your ideas contained by getting Fields Back?

Answer:
I am just not spending any money near, but to answer your question check out www.fieldsfanschicago.org nearby are good answers to your question there
The moniker change is a travesty. However, why should I spend my time protesting for a name devolution back to Fields that ISN'T going to crop up? Why should we care more than the corporation does? I hold better ways to spend my time. Not shopping at Macy's is a much easier way to express dissatisfaction.
I estimate there are MUCH more urgent things to protest than the cross of a stupid store... get a vivacity.

Is marketing/advertising manipulative. why or why not?

Question:

Answer:
Of course it is. You have to determine if it's slighting or not. Marketing and advertising uses focus groups to determine what you and your age group tend to spend your money on. afterwards they come up with plans to CONVINCE you to spend your money. Would you come up near a commercial with a speaking lizard to vend car insurance? The pasture is very manipulative, but they're here to take home you feel that you can't live minus their product.
I believe it is.
Prime examples are cosmetic industry and weight loss industry.
An artificial 'ideal' is created contained by the ads that not simply makes the consumer get the impression 'less than' but also pushes the 'remedy' - their product.
Subliminal and hypnotic techniques are used surrounded by order to generate a consumer response.
Advertising is effectual and persuasive. Else companies would not pay millions of dollars for it. So by definition it is manipulative. Manipulative the word have gained a refusal connotation. But if you wanted to spin it another bearing you would just articulate that advertising influences associates to consider your product or service.
"You mean black propagandas. Well not exactly. I am a marketer and the approach I do my marketing tasks usually depends on the target audience itself. We make sure that the strategy we are incorporating is base upon what the market dictates. Viral marketing and viral advertising refer to marketing technique that use pre-existing social networks to produce exponential increases in brand awareness, through self-replicating viral processes, analogous to the spread of a computer virus. It can habitually be word-of-mouth delivered and enhanced online; it can harness the meet people effect of the Internet and can be very adjectives in reaching a substantial number of people hurriedly.

Some of the first recorded offline / online viral campaign were developed by Tim Nolan of Spent2000.com glory circa 1996. By placing abstract pairings of catch-phrases, quotes, song lyrics and image mashups, Mr. Nolan developed a method of creating "buzz" around a URL base installation. Phrases like "This city isn't safe" placed along side a URL created curiousity plenty in people's minds to remember a URL and drop by again once they were online.

Viral marketing sometimes refers to Internet-based stealth marketing campaign, including the use of blogs, seemingly amateur web sites, and other forms of astroturfing, designed to create word of mouth for a strange product or service. Often the goal of viral marketing campaign is to generate media coverage via "offbeat" stories worth masses times more than the campaigning company's hype budget.

The term "viral advertising" refers to the opinion that people will miss on and share interesting and entertaining content; this is often sponsored by a brand, which is looking to build awareness of a product or service. These viral commercials commonly take the form of funny video clips, or interactive Flash games, an advergame, descriptions, and even text.

Viral marketing is popular because of the facility of executing the marketing campaign, relative low-cost (compared to direct mail), accurate targeting, and the soaring and rapid response rate. The fundamental strength of viral marketing is its ability to search out a large number of interested society at a low cost.

When Cold Calling to set appointments, is it better to phone surrounded by or way of walking surrounded by?

Question:
I'm not interested in audible range weather people approaching cold calls or not, merely what is more effective. My experiences own worked out better on the phone for some reason but most ppl i articulate to like to only walk within to a place of business and set an appointment.

Answer:
In my oppinion it depends on the type of business you are trying to attract. For instance, if you walk into a salon or hours of daylight spa, it would be appropriate to ask for the owner or manager and if they own a receptionist, I would ask to set up an appointment with the regulator or owner and leave your business card and any literature that pertains to your service. Usually if you afford them the chance to look over what you enjoy to offer they will return your christen and give you an appointment to discuss your service. In other areas of business I would do for a time research on it and decide if calling by phone or walking contained by would be the most appropriate. I have found that most businesses do better near someone who they have see personally fairly than a voice.
I would always run with the phone first, it basically depends how aggressive you like to be. It also depends what the individual wants of that particular company is. Research, find a have need of and go from at hand. You may have to newly walk surrounded by on some. Good Luck!!
It depends on what you are calling them on. Sometimes the personal approach works better, because then they are not competent to just brush you stale of the phone or to someone else. On the phone you can more animated and sell the product more comfortably.
Phone! Why go off the comfort of your home? I've always set appointments this opening, and no one's ever complained. Places where you set appointments are businesses. They should be blissful you even frequent their establishment.
Not many businesses resembling cold callers walking within. Telephoning is easier and takes smaller amount time for the busy professional. If they then want to see you after an appointment can be set. Perhaps you could get together a really spiffy portfolio of what you are offering beside an excellent presentation of yourself and product/service. Send the printed material first, follow up beside a phone call to set an appointment to discuss the detail. Good luck.
find in to the company any way. walking surrounded by the front door works of a company always works, put the phone is also a accurate tool of the receptionist knows if they use your
product or service

Why the difference between G00GLE a.d.sense click counts and MyBlogLog click count of G00GLE a.d.sense ad?

Question:
I would understand if here were a small difference between my click count tally by mybloglog and those credited to me by G00GLE a.d.sense due to fraud.

However, i am seeing HUGE differences. Basically for every 10-15 clicks counted by mybloglog, I am seeing only 1 through G00GLE. It's making me really frustrated. I am not clicking on my ad or encouraging other to.

I will get traffic from reddit or verbs, see the clicks happen on mybloglog, but nil seems to count.

Am i doing something wrong? Please helpi'm going crazy here!

Answer:
I've notice exactly the same point.

None of the popular bloggers seem to know the exact answer, and nor do I. However, it's only just come to light that MyBlogLog should not really be tracking G00GLE a.d.sense clicks - this is against the G00GLE a.d.sense Terms of Service.

All the big bloggers are recommend removing MyBlogLog from pages of your site - apparently downfall to do may cause your a.d.s.e.n.s.e side to be suspended (MyBlogLog say contained by their TOS that they 'generally' do not share private info - they also do not have go-ahead to track clicks!).

Either MyBlogLog raises the number of a.d.s.e.n.s.e clicks to awaken subscription to their tool - making you think it is helping you earn more - or (my hypothesis and yours) - maybe because of the rule breaking - clicks tracked by MBL count as click fraud and receive cancelled.

I'm about to remove MyBlogLog from my blog!

Good luck,

Michelle Crofts
People nowdays noe abt G00GLE trailer. so there forget about it. they noe that thats is an advetisment. Try make you G00GLE trailer no look like and classified ad. thats the tips. so people may accidentally click on it.

Do you work for Levi's hun? Sounds like you do and you're surrounded by the advertising dept and not really doing your mission.rather interesting within. Personally I have a ton of idea's for Levi's marketing, the foreign commercial where they guy see's his pant being stolen is great. What I don't similar to about Levi's is the inconsistency contained by their sizingThey are still the best denim, but once they moved their plant out of Sf I can't get their jeans to fit!
Yeah - what she said. Husband wear levis and what a pain when he requests new ones. We enjoy to find the size then look at the "Made in" flap. If we can locate a country that makes the fit consistent near what he bought 10 years ago, he buys all the pairs he can find. No two fit duplicate anymore.
