I am taking our company first time to a tradeshow, and am looking for innovative ideas for a branded giveaway to culture, something useful, but minus spending a fortune (we are very impulsive start-up).

Don't know what show you are going to but the ultimate 3 Internet shows I've been at (Ad Tech, SES, Affiliate Summit) served beer (I'm not kidding) from a keg into a plastic cup (they weren't branded cups but should own been because everyone kept coming up to inhabitants with them asking where on earth to get one themselves). Very attractive.
I think the disc opener is not too desperate. The others I saw that I remembered was a cool business card holder, traveling coffee mug, Revenue Magazine have a cupcake with chocolate sprinkles on their cover and so their booth give away cupcakes. . .But if all else fail you, geeks love those pens that oil lamp up!
I wouldn't worry so much give or take a few your logo, etc. being on a take-away such as a post-it wad or pen or whatever but something that draws citizens to your booth for a conversation such as the beer, cupcakes, etc.?
Little plastic CD-openers. May sound corny, but dont you detestation opening those things? I bet it will achieve used. I got one at a trade show and I love it.
Stress ball are the best give aways, citizens tend to hold on to them. Make sure you make them sign up or achieve their card before you make a contribution anything out.
How about take bags? I repugnance walking around with piles of brochures, It would be great to hold something to put them in. or somewhat plastic business card holder. or a small pen and note wad.

I give you a star of this one because I think it's a really virtuous question. One invention that would be worthwhile ... a card system that would hold all of the information required to procure shopper advantage cards that can be used from store to store in need having a wallet and keychain full of individual cards. It would be more convenient to beat out one card to scan for frequent shopper discounts, provide identification, etc. Let's appointment it the UniCard. I think there's a bazaar for it... frustrated consumers and businesses that want your personal data available to better serve you and generate more money off you.
I would love to hold an inexpensive device like a document pad that you could nouns pdf files onto and read them away from the computer.
How about a golf pushcart and wheel bench combined? So someone in a controls chair doesn't enjoy to try to get a special van near a lift within order to be in motion to the grocery store.
