As far as VOIP, ably that's interesting because voice over IP is a dramatic downgrade from what most people enjoy now, copper or fiber lines. The suspension in message arriving, the low level, the one-way acceptance, it adjectives sucks compared to copper or fiber lines. Since it's cheap (for now), like beside Skype or Yahoo IM, it's a novelty to be capable of talk to someone while you're online and they're on a phone. Outside of the modernism, it sucks.
