Advertising Marketing Questions and Answers

Where is the best play to post flyers when hype your business?

Question:

Answer:
The best place to post flyers are in unfair places. You don't want to get a littering fine though, I'm sure. You can try public bulletin boards at the library or contained by the grocery store, but I would say 99% of the shoppers don't look at the bulletin boards regularly.

But grocery stores are a great place to puff, because everybody has to shop for groceries, right? So why don't you spend a few dollars and pile it on on the back of the register tape in your local grocery stores? And when I speak a few dollars, I only connote a few dollars. You can get your business on the pay for of the register tape for give or take a few the same price as going out to a in a hurry food restaurant every day for lunch. At lowest possible that's how much it costs with my company.

I'm in fact a representative for a large register video advertising company that works next to 10,000 grocery stores in the US, Canada and the UK. Register video advertising is a great instrument to reach virtually every creature in your community over and over again next to your message. It works great and it's way cheaper than journalists or direct mail programs.

If you would similar to more information, please send me an email. I can probably take you set up in your nouns. Good luck!
in peoples hand
Check around and see if local businesses allow for you to post flyers just in their doors. Many grocery stores used to have bulletin boards. Most of the smaller chains or the relations owned places still do. Same goes for restaurants.

You might want to check out laundry mat especially those that are part of an apartment. Many times citizens are looking for something to read while they watch their clothes travel through the spin cycle.

But I agree with the first character that answered. In their hands is best. If yuo can be involved contained by a flea market or city garage mart it would be not only a apposite place to have your flyer available but also an opportunity to chitchat to quite a few general public.

Is your business product or opportunity based?
NOWHERE!

It's cheap...it's gummy...it's amateur hour.
When I wanted to post flyers, I put them where on earth there is alot of traffic, similar to liquor stores, laundry mat, 7-11. Depending on the size of where you live, you might be capable of put it on the area public transportation. It depends on your target nouns you are trying to reach.

Answer:
you want something that surrounded by the book selling industry is called "remainders" unsophisticatedly left over books, tape and Cd's that did not sell.

when you say aloud copy writing, do you mean classified ad writing? copyrighting things you write is now so smooth u don't need a book on it. freshly contact the copyright office, a small brochure or network page they have will notify you all you involve to know about that.

flier writing, if that is what you want, is subjective, accounts tell you to do it such and such, but they don't work. study ad you see that run and run, nobody keeps running ad that don't produce sales.

Next put somebody through the mill? Can you write? can you show a story with words? if you can, i would consider partner with you, i enjoy the ideas, but my writing talent is poor at this point.

What's the difference between the "TM" symbol and the Registered symbol?

Question:

Answer:
The (R) Registered symbol means that your heading or logo has be registered with the US Patent and Trademark Office. You hold substantial rights to protect your name of logo once the registration have been completed.

The TM symbol can be meaningless. Or it may hold some meaning, but zilch like the (R).

First of adjectives, not all name can be registered with the Trademark Office. (It's complicated, but if you want more details, check the pattern site at www.uspto.gov.) Anyway, if you have a nickname that is NOT registerable, you can still consider it to be your intellectual property. Using a TM near the name signifies that you consider it to be yours, even though you cannot get hold of the (R). Or, alternately, if you have an Application for a registration future at the Trademark Office, you can use the TM to signify that.

The primary difference between (R) and TM is that if someone infringes on your name or logo and you hold it registered (R) -- then you can collect monetary damages.

If you simply hold the TM, then you cannot collect money for damages. Your one and only legal recourse is controlled to getting a "cease and desist" direct against the party who is infringing on you.

(NOTE: the (R) have NOTHING to do with patent. It simply comes from the US Patent and Trademark Office.)
TM- Trademarked
R - Registered with a exclusive rights

Does site build it (sbi) really works for grating marketers?

Question:

Answer:
The SBI system works for anyone who actually does what the system say. The CTPM online business model presented by SBI and SBIers is flawless and is top of the heap.

Network marketers are underneath their own "system" and if the system is good - AND FOLLOWED - it'll work as long as it's continuously worked.

If you want instant nouns, SBI is not for you. Like ANY good system, SBI requires you to certainly do something. I'm very sorry to voice that once you sign up, you're not automatically a millionaire. Sob :)

SBI works if you work it. Period.
i think they are fraud i too saw their demo for 30 min...
There are thousands of affiliates currently selling this software. You'll really entail to approach it creatively if you plan on making any money.
Hi Killa,

I am a business mentor who saves nation a lot of heart throbbing and years of frustration by showing people the 10 elemental steps to narrowing down network marketing businesses and which one would be a perfect fit for your personality type.

I hold a free e book to help you retrieve tons of time here: http://laurajames.powerfulnetworkingsecr...
This is like asking if any website works for make friends marketers. SBI is only a tool for building websites. And websites are lone a tool for any business. Putting up a website and expecting a flood of business is like putting a billboard surrounded by the middle of a desert. If people don't see it, you hold wasted your money.

SBI is a step by step model, and for someone brand strange to the world of Internet marketing, it's a pretty good place to start.
Personally I don't know if SBI works for net marketers. I would think that anything would work if you put within enough go and time.
A solution I liked better be simple money machines. It allows you to have up to 10 sites promoting up to 3 offer per site.
If you can type on your computer you could do this. There's lots of help video and instructions galore if you need it contained by the members nouns.

Hi,

Site Build It has zilch to do with framework marketing. It just builds Web sites. Go here for a review ( http://buildit.sitesell.com/waltera1.htm... What the Web site does is up to the builder. If you want it to concentrate on newtwork marketing (MLM), later design it that way.

It will be a complete spend in dribs and drabs of time.

Here are the 10 biggest lies of network marketing (http://www.mlmwatch.org/01general/10lies... read the truth and steer clear of this world-wide hoax.

MLM is the biggest scam surrounded by the world and it is going global near companies like Tiens.

They will speak about you that all you want is fresh leads from a moral mailing chronicle and people will sign up faster than a NASCAR see car.

Are you kid me? Fresh MLM leads! Don't drip for that.

Get real.

Remember, There's a sucker born every minute...and two to purloin 'em. Burn that into your brain.

If their leads are so biddable, where is their money-back guarantee? Leadbakery is in recent times one example of a list trader and they are even worse than the MLM companies.

Listen! There has never be a successful course or book on MLM success - adjectives boil down to this:

talk to lots of folks with question like "If I could show you a road to make lots of money hasty, would you be interested?".

That's the first warning sign that something is rotten within Denmark.

Yes, some will sign up, but unless you are a "heavy hitter" and use illegitimate methods to trap people into becoming distributors, honest inhabitants cannot succeed at this.

Do you know why these courses never work? None of them work because the concept is a con - it's the confidence man's dream, jam busy with hype and hyposcrisy.

The lone people that will be making money are the enumerate brokers selling the mailing catalogue - and the course writers and seminar creators. If it was such other, why wouldn't they join a MLM company? The mail list would be free to them. You don't see them giving up a lucrative mail list business to procure into something that doesn't work. They are smart. They get it. And expensive training courses - what a jape. They offer courses that will never work for the gullible and easy to fool - the GRQ crowd.

And I always wondered why none of the relations who worked the administrative side of the "business" were not distributors if it be such a great deal. They know a job be better than the smoke and mirrors, pie in the sky hype used to trade MLM.

MLM is the world's biggest scam. I have tried it a couple of times, the later being Herbalife. It have now moved into the Internet to trap associates into believing that they can Get Rich Quick. It is going global.

The with the sole purpose way to craft big money is to sell distributorships for thousands of dollars.

If you do the math, and you are competent to sign up lots of people, which is doubtful, you soon run out of family. You get 2, afterwards those 2 get 2, etc. It the ripened binary progression. Do it 10 times and you are in the thousands. With every progression, the number doubles. 2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512,102... 2024,4048,9096. The problem is those family in the inauguration of the progression opt-out and gobble up the progression faster than Pac-Man. This is known as the "Drop Out Rate".

So what happen when thousands of people are doing this and near the internet it could be millions. You soon run out of people to speak to.

Think about it.

In certainty, finally, the numbers will exceed the entire world's population. It is a total dream world, completely out of touch with genuineness. It always looks honourable on paper, but none of the "robust hitters" want to talk roughly drop-out rates.

Hey! What looks good within a spreadsheet, doesn't translate to reality.

The certainty is that only the ethnic group who set up the program make money. The subsequent level is adjectives those scam artists that sell and dispense seminars on how to succeed surrounded by MLM. None of the schemes work because the concept is dangerously flawed.

Why would anyone with a brain wage $30 for an herbal shampoo that they can buy at the local supermarket for $1. The same with pomegranate liquid and Noni joice and all the other miracle juice, algae, and other strange things, even flower pollen.

Are you kidding me?

Get solid.

Next, you will read all the anecdotal claims that the product will cure cancer and adjectives sorts of other maladies. This is simply another form of fraud. Where are the scientific double and triple blind studies? There ain't any.

Listen! Ask just about the drop-out rate. Yes, the drop out rate.

Over 98% of the people who sign up will drop out after a few months or smaller number. So even if you sign up a few people, they will be gone contained by months, if not weeks, when they find out how several people they own to talk to for only one distributor.

And your friends will not like you badger them to join and will avoid you at adjectives costs.

And most of the people who sign up are down-and-out desperate, who can sick afford to waste their money and who may be liable to criminal prosecution for promoting unregistered securities. And that's in recent times in the USA. Foreign companies similar to Tiens leave you no recourse to any legitimate legal remedies or enforcement.

Most of these programs die eventually departing the suckers who signed up holding the bag. I have them die on me and not knowing any better, signed up for the latest MLM scam. After several attempts, I finally come to realize that it was adjectives just a scam - some individuals became almost similar to religious zealots when they talked roughly speaking their program that was going to label everyone rich and quick too. I lost a correct friend when he believed my wild claims, put down $3,000 and lost it adjectives.

The "industry" is full of disingenuous people whose mantra is "Fake it 'til you kind it". Doesn't work. More fraud.

Here is a trick your upline will employ to obtain reluctant prospects to sign up. They will tell Ms. Reluctant that they will put some nation under her and they filch Mr. Hopeful who has already become a distributor and rewarded the fee and stick him lower than Ms. Reluctant which forces Ms. Reluctant to either buy contained by or lose the distributor. This is what happened to me within Herbalife. I was Mr. Hopeful. I thought I be signing up under a successful guy at the top particular as a "heavy hitter", but I soon found out I have been scammed. Without relating me, he put me under Ms. Reluctant to force Ms. Reluctant to become a distributor. I did not similar to my new sponsor and after spending thousands on mailings, I finally dropped out. This is prearranged as "stacking" and is supposedly illegal but it happen all the time.

Listen! My upline within Herbalife made more money selling a sales pamphlet than they did working their MLM business. We mail out thousands of these pamphlets that we bought from our sponsor for a dime and he probably have them printed for a penny.

Now, it's all done on the Internet via e-mail. But instead of mail booklets, you get a Web site. But a fraud is still a fraud no situation what the media is that promotes it.

This be right before the Internet become popular and I was buying mail lists through mail list brokers and mail thousands of booklets with not much nouns. I was lucky if 1% of 1% signed up as distributors. And they dropped out faster than I could make the addition of new ones.. Pretty soon, you run out of standard people to letters to. The internet makes this even worse, but they own to be more careful, but the spam continues to explode.

Check out this Web site: http://www.vandruff.com/mlm_faq.html.. - for more facts, not hype going on for MLM and what a world-wide fraud it is.

I will probably get lots of MLMers who will villify me for trashing MLM, but I've be there and done it and I know first appendage what a fraudulent scam it is that can destroy your duration, drain you wallet and ruin your friendships.

Kindest Personal Regards,

P.S. Remember, there are no bring rich quick scheme that work. If there be, the entire world would be rich in an instant. I used to be gullible and easy to fool and fell for some of them - no more. Be a sceptic. Be a doubting Thomas. Why are there thousands of GRQ scheme, because they work! Thousands of Gullible people believe that in that is such a thing as GRQ and con artists lug advantage of that. Demand proof, not hype.

Nice Marketing Presentation?

Question:
I have a congress on 1st of February and I would like to impress my bosses next to a nice Marketing/Promotion Presentation. Also I would like to add on new philosophy for the New year. ANy suggestions? Not only for Marketing Templates but also for fascinating Marketing Tools?

Answer:
I always like the following format when making a presentation:
1. Tell them what you are going to tell them (Preview)
2. Tell them, i.e., (Elaborate on each point)
3. Then recount them what you told them (Review)

I would plan on limiting the presentation to somewhere around 20 minutes. You don't want to bore them and put them to sleep. Today, people don't hold the attention span to sit through a long presentation. Everyone is to use to being entertain.

I would also try not to make too masses points, probablly around 3 or 4 will be enough. Also bring in sure you have a "give up your job behind" in armour your audience wants to review your work.

Each point that you receive should be supported with polite solid evidence, and not heresay or "weather reports".

So your presentation may go approaching this:

Today I want to present to you:
A..
B...
C.

Now lets appropriate a closer look at each of these:
Point A..
1. Suppoort near evidence
2. Support with extramural evidence
3. Support with added evidence

Point B
1. Suppoort with evidence
2. Support near additional evidence
3. Support near additional evidence

Point C...
1. Suppoort near evidence
2. Support with spare evidence
3. Support with supplementary evidence

Now lets review what we covered today.
1. Quick synopsis of Point A
2. Quick synopsis of Point B
3. Quick synopsis of Point C.

You said you want to do a marketing/promotion presentation.
Promotion is chunk of marketing. Here's my simple definition of marketing and the 4P's:

Marketing is taking a product and positioning it just right so that it reach your target audience which could be other businesses or the general consumer. Marketing is usually best explained surrounded by terms of the 4-P's. Product, Price, Place and Promotion.

Product - The item that you want to sell, and you enjoy refined it so that it is exactly what your target audience requirements.

Price - The amount that you charge for the product so that the target audience will recognize it as an excellent meaning.

Place - This has to do next to distribution of your product. How best to get your product to the target audience. It can accord with a host of things, such as warehousing, trucking, the availability of UPS etc. etc.

Promotion - This have to do with the path you notify your target audience of you product. It might be direct mail, point of mart displays, special events, radio, TV, newspaper exposure etc.

My point is that it will be virtually impossible to do a presentation on marketing as it contains so many variables. Your company probably have a product manager, a sale manger who is involved in pricing. A distribution manger who is charge of getting the product to the target audience, and probable a promotion manager who is invoved near advertising and special events etc. So I expect you should try to concentrate on just one small aspect of the 4 P's

You did mention promotion so let concentrate on that: Here's a list that from which you may want to pick an item or two or three and complicated on them:

Radio advertising
TV promotion
Newspaper advertising
Magazine hype
Professional business periodicals
Internet selling
Direct Mail advertising
Special event contribution
Sponsorships
Point of sale displays
Billboards
Slogans
Logos
Novelties
You probably can come up next to a few more.

If I was doing the presentation I would do it contained by a Powerpoint format. This way you enjoy two alternatives of showing it. Either on the computer screen or by projector. If a projector is available use it. It allows you more freedom of movement, and it looks better too.

Do you know how to capture to Carneige Hall. Practice, practice, practice.

My point is that the actual presentation should not be the first time you present the material. Try making the presentation to yourself surrounded by front of a mirror; then graduate to an audience of one, afterwards get a group of friends and present it to them. You'll be amazed on how this will build your confience, and you'll credible get flawless feed subsidise from these mini presntations.

The day of the presentation receive sure you have everything set-up and in place to go. You don't want to be fumbling around; this won't impress your bosses. If the presentation is planned for 9am on Feb. 1 you should be saying at exactly 9am GOOD MORNING, DURING THE NEXT 20 MINUTES I WILL..

Good Luck
You could do a power point presentation. Goals for 2007 is a nice means of access to go since its the first of the year. Research the different niche that your company has customers from and focus on making their decision on purchasing from your company. find a competitive advantage which is a motivation why customers will buy from you instead of competitors. Have fun and don't be nervousthey are just nation too!

What color make ethnic group buy?

Question:

Answer:
Medium to dark blue seem to be the best color that causes associates to buy, according to psychologists. The apparent grounds for this is because blue inspires confidence in the merchant as well as the product.

The shade of blue is meaningful. Medium to dark blue exerts the most force. Light blue, or pastel, does not inspire like peas in a pod amount of confidence.

Marketers often use two colors for their sale campaign - red and blue. Red grab the attention of the shopper. Blue makes the Dutch auction.

amadeus
I would say bright colors that are near favorite?
Red, Yellow , Black and White
I heard pallid makes folks want to eat. Pink make crazy people relax for partially and hour. People are usually attracted to bright luscious colours. But some like soft pastel and shimmery glow.

I don't surmise you can pin point exactly what colour makes ethnic group buy but I would say colours that block the eye. Vomit Green and diarrhoea yellow would not own many fan of course.
For me it's yellows, greens, and tans. Natural colors...
I enjoy had nouns with blue or a dark derivative of blue, like a blueish-gray. Blue conveys trust, an momentous factor users must feel just about a site if they are going to spend money. I would not use Blue as the primary color, but as an accent.
The color muddy blue has be proven to increase sales by 10% or more. Wear a ominous blue suit.
different colours have different connotations and put together people counter differently to different products.
There was a study done next to coffee and irrespective of the type of coffee
- the blue coffee was perceived as one mild
- the red coffee was strong
- the gold ingots coffee was conventional

It depends which product you are trying to sell and contained by what context. (ie if your store is in impossible to tell apart strip as red rooster, kfc and maccas i would stay away from Red as your product won't stand out)
Before imparting colour to the product,please hang on to in mind;

1. Type of product

2. Material used within product

3. Targeted Market

4. Legal requirement
A color itself is not going to make citizens buy. Just because Coca Cola is red and white with some black doesn't stingy that's what sells. Just because Pepsi is blue, red, white and black doesn't stingy that those colors are why it sells.

Any research that have been carried out on "what color make people buy" is a nouns of uncontrolled and badly coordinated carrying out tests.

Just because orange is not on the account above, does that mean that relatives won't buy? Hey, it's a derivative of red and captures attention, though not comparatively as well as red, but like mad better than blue. And yet, somehow, the marketingtips logo have orange on it, cingular have orange. Somehow they're still contained by business. How do you account for that if red doesn't make relations buy? Or why is Amazon.com still in business? Colors can solitary attract attention or not, or help convey a inkling or "wavelength." After that, it's up to the offer, copy or human being to make the actual mart.

Hope that helps.

How Long Does It Take Yahoo/G00GLE To Index A Website?

Question:
I posted a website a couple of days ago and it as been crawled by yahoo and G00GLE but it is not surrounded by the search index. Do sites take indexed immediately after crawling? If not, how long does it appropriate? How do I know if my site is waiting to get on the query results or if it is banned?

Answer:
Hey Richard,

G00GLE and Yahoo strengthen their index hourly, but the pages that get hold of indexed the most often are those that hold "trust" with the engines. This is why you see report stories on CNN nearly instantly indexed and searchable in G00GLE's index. If your site is investigational, you need to gain trust, and that usually way getting quality sites to interconnect to you, which is not always that trouble-free. Here is an article that will greatly help you.
Yahoo usually take a month.

G00GLE, usually takes 2-3 months.
I own heard it can nick a week if you do not submit a sitemap.

my last sitemap took longer to formulate than it took G00GLE to read and map !
2-3 days normally. A week on a impossible week.

When you are looking for your site in survey results, are you searching for specific keywords or of late the name of the site?

If you are merely searching for keywords, you may be indexed, but on page 1,323,478.

If you own a G00GLE toolbar installed on your browser, look at the PR ranking section. If it is white and say PR 0, you are not banned. If it is greyed out, you are not permitted.
Vegasb2k had the correct answer. You may be indexed immediately by G00GLE, but you may not see yourself in the index within the top 100 very at the double -- it depends on how well you hold optimized your website.

Once you are indexed, I've found that G00GLEbot comes back regularly -- sometimes several times per day.
months
It adjectives depend on your website keyword popularity. It can be range from 2-6 months to get hold of listed at G00GLE.
