Media outlets understandably do not want the bulk of their business to be at the heavily discounted rates you'll find next to remnant space, so the access to it is tightly controlled.
Some newspapers will put you on a "standby" program, where on earth they hold an ad for you of a unshakable size, for a specified period of time. If they use it, you gain it for, say, partly price. If they don't use it, you are not billed naturally, but that's the risk you steal - that it won't run. That's a direct route you could take, and even if your local tabloid doesn't have a formal arrangement resembling this, you may be able to work something out, specifically if the newspaper is locally owned.
There is nought to stop anyone in demanding buying it, you could phone the right people surrounded by the right places and buy it yourself if you wish.
In the UK, much of it is bought by the like of advertising.com, madiabrokers, adviva and adlink, and you could buy from any of those companies if you be interested in buying unsold 'blind' space - but the interrogate would be whether buying space without knowing where on earth it is going to appear would be the best policy for the objectives of any advertising that you be interested in running.
Best Colors for Elderly?

I am doing a marketing research for school and I can't find anything online as to what are the best colors suited for elderly relations since their eyes see color differently.
What are the colors that they respond the most to?
What are the colors that are easiest for them to see?
Could someone tell me what the best colors are for seniors and possibly direct me to websites that talk roughly speaking colors and the elderly.

I have not found a website that really relates or answers directly the examine you ask; my suggestion is to try colors that are soft, like pastel colors such as this website. Bright Colors may hurt your eyes since they are sensitive.

While surrounded by college I needed this information as well. Testing and confirmation provides different results over the years so I would suggest you do what I did- There are many medical services that test the elderly surrounded by various programs- usually tutoring hospitals and medical centers. You can just travel in and inform them that you would like to cram this information and can they share their test results near you- if you are not asking for specifics about general public, they can usually give you an overall, such as manly ages x to x results are... female ages x to x etc. Another place I get my information was from calling larger commercial agencies in local areas and asking what they found to be true; compared to the medical notes, and utilized the information that was duplicated. The final article I did was put together the key color wheel beside primary colors and one for lighter shades; put together a questionaire that asked for the top 4 in respectively catagory you need to know and head for the mall. Be sure you describe your age group and DONT call them elderly. Head for the mall- ask shoppers who look to be the right age that you are doing a expeditious study for school etc and if they are between the ages of x and x, it would really lend a hand if they could answer a few quick question about color. My sample were plain covered books that I put out on a table contained by groups and then asked the appropriate query. If you prearrange with the shopping precinct manager and consent to them see you are not selling anything they will work with you. Hope this help out.

In my belief, none from your list are conspicuously eye-catching, unless they means something contained by your language. Maybe "Tamram" or "Sabtab" are almost the best, as they are easier to say.
I assume sponr is the better, so u can take SpongesBobSquarePants as your talisman ^0^
