Cliches surrounded by business promotion, a do or don't?

Question:
My friend often edit some of the things I write for various advertising/marketing/promotio... purposes. I'm not discussion about a couple of sentences, but several paragraph. She edits chiches and tell me to define them instead. Sometimes I be aware of the chiche is better, but I would like other opinion.

One example is "taking things to a new smooth." In advertising, sometimes this scheme "making more money" or perhaps the explanation is simply too detailed for the reader to follow.

So, chiches in public relations, a do or don't?

Answer:
◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊...

I have 35 years experience contained by advertising.
I also own 2 degrees.

So, beside that said, advertising is the communication between the salesperson and buyer. If that includes cliches to make the point, why not do it? it's far better than have poor or weak communication where on earth the message gets lost.
I be taught to speak to the hoi polloi and use common verbal communication. KISS: keep it simple stupid.
I wrote a book more or less marketing that's sold on amazon and it's loaded with cliches similar to, "time is money" or "life is a shoreline." But many public relations headlines are cliches and that's freshly fine if it works.
I would tell your editor to "cut you some slack" and "travel with the flow." Because, "life's too short," and "catch a life."
"Get the picture?"

◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊...
I would imagine that using cliches would depend entirely on the target you are trying to appeal to.
You can't lump everyone into the same picnic basket.
Do we overcapitulate sometimes? You bet.

I would use them where vital.
Ya u can do it
Well, honestly I hate cliches. :)
But besides that if you ask me cliches work merely on old culture :)
if you want to get contained by contact with populace in age 18-29, cliches aren't the article to do.
Cliche's are great especially with a jingle to turn w/it.
Sometimes if you pick something real catchy kids and associates who like it will sing and plug for you.--The best part ---for free.

Importance of mascot contained by marketing and exposure?

Question:

Answer:

I have 35 years experience surrounded by advertising

I am guessing you are a student or someone totally strange with promotion in standard. If not, you would know that a mascot is unanimously a live or animated animal or creature associated with sports team, schools, colleges, or some institutions.
In the world of selling, there are a range of logos, trademarks or commercial characters used to promote certain products or services. Tony the Tiger of Kellogg's cereal eminence, the Maytag repairman, or the Taco Bell Chihuahua are a few examples of that type.
But they are usually temporary until another marketing solicit votes comes along.
There are many examples of logos where on earth corporations use characters, such as Disney and Mickey Mouse. But that would hardly be call a mascot.
The concept of using characters to aid the consumer contained by remembering certain companies is centuries out-of-date and was employed by businesses approaching saloons with a Rusty Pelican or The Golden Goose on their signage hindmost in the 1800's. Therefore, it's zilch new or nor inspired. It just is a optical reminder and nothing more.

Good luck on your homework assignment.

◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊...
#1 principle - provides brand recognition for potential customers
#2 - get people interested surrounded by their commercials/ads
Brand recognition
Huh why would mascot be important stupid dork you dirt orb
Mascots are for sports teams. I ruminate you're talking something like characters or symbols. Or spokes-geckos. They humanize the product, provide easy brand naming, etc. And they are cheaper and easier to control than human spokepeople, who seem to achieve into trouble.

Think of the AFLAC duck or Tony the Tiger or the GEICO geeko.Very memorable, yes?
In postscript to the other answers, i would mention that animals are more trusted than people. Some researches on message taking on have be done and they discovered that viewers trust the message more if it is delivered by suffer, bunny, dolphin or mascot fairly than human. Of course, this applies for particular products resembling foods and cleaning supplies. So, they are important within order to convey trustworthiness.

I call for concept for my flyer to plug my newcompany?

Question:
I need philosophy on how to advertise my bright window cleaning company e.g.: flyer/posters. I be hoping you might be able to backing me. I have the term and the slogan for the company but I want a catchy picture to put on the flyer/posters.

Answer:
Look in the sickly pages at other company's advert and choose something similar good luck!
Don't...flyers=tacky.
here this is cute
http://www.fivestarwindow.com/wc.jpg...
Then cause fifty bronze clasps and put them in the loops to press together the tent together as a unit.
My suggestion is to gain far more creative than a standard flyer. I'm in a free-handed mood so I'll toss out a freebie.

I'd work out some way to enjoy the flyer look like a pane....perhaps clear plastic sheeting. I can infer of a good 3 fold belief but you will have to thump into your own creativity. But you want something that will stand out, be distinctive and mostly be memorable and one-off.

Hopefully that is plenty to get you started. But feel outside the box. Maybe buy a gross of squeegee's and use them as a tool. A piece of paper isn't going to catch you a client. Neither will my suggestions, but they will get you a school assembly, where you hopefully can market yourself.
There are loads of High Street print shops who are great at this sort of thing. They will suggest some designs and do it for you and consequently knock out as many flyers as you want. You retribution for the design work as a one off but they will after keep the template so if you re-order you singular pay for the flyers the second time around.

Advice for managing a creative troop?

Question:
At risk of generalizing, here seems to be a confident personality type that go along with working within a creative/adv agency. In the past, I own been a client/internal customer trying to procure space ads/brochures/etc done, so even if changes or differences of view weren't well like, I could get the end-product that I wanted--sometimes next to the aid of a strong Creative Director who could weigh the business needs near the creative needs. Recently, I hold inherited a creative troop -- I feel close to I'm working with a bunch of middleschoolers (no offense to middleschoolers) -- they are sensitive by suggestions or criticism, the designers and copywriters argue over who gets final voice, if the project owner makes a suggestion more or less layout, I get an earful over who is the "designer" and who is lately the product manager. I'm at wits end--I know the behavior is adjectives, but how do I get everyone to work with satisfaction and productively rather than pouting, taking offense and threatening to quit! Thanks

Answer:

I be a creative director and art director.
I also ran my own classified ad agency and have 35 years marketing experience.
Now, you can throw adjectives that out the window.
You are dealing near people. More specifically, individuals with ego. Make sure that each one know the pecking order. That would be the ranking within the agency and who answers to who.
Establish ground rules for meeting, discussions, and who has the final vote. Carefully explain how everyone is paid; for successful projects or their out of the ordinary specialty. Further tell them that minus happy clients, nearby will be NO agency to fight around.
Have a suggestion box for those who criticize and then put it adjectives in writing as a company procedures brochure. Include a process for complaints and solutions. Makes sure everyone signs their copy so they have to plead guilty they have read it.
Then post a few "no whining zone" signs and hopefully, acquire back to agency work. Good luck, you'll stipulation it!

◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊...
In order to gain respect and trust , I guess both hold a role to play. There will also be some egos flying around for sure. The push button attributes of any good squad member is of a mind to help and swot up, when you know that he/she have chosen these words and transformed them into arrangements you can be rest assured, you got the right ones. If not, try to find out if any of them are into troop sports before. Even here arent any, is not too late to play a troop sport like basketball or football, etc within a monthly company activity. Sometimes, stress at work get a person down, mordant deadlines and even department politics. As a team leading light, you need to know adjectives possibilties to strike a balance and I'm sure you can do it :-)
it is really earth-shattering to acknowledge people and their contributions to the work. reinforce right work with praise. set boundaries, and engineer sure that people know what is expected of them at the department. and make sure that you are also initiate to criticism when you get something 'wrong' - such as whose role something is - and cram from those experiences.

Question:
hi there i enjoy a dog waking buisness its surrounded by a local town and i want to advertise it where on earth on the internet can u advertise for free your buisnesses? any philosophy ? thankyou x

Answer:
why dont you put ads on your local rural community notice board? Also lots of local shops usually enjoy pin boards where you can place ad.
What about adjectives the local pet shops- you could leave business cards on the desk.
Although it may thieve a while, you could print off a nouns of leaflets yourself and spend a weekend posting them through letter boxes- this is an excellent instrument to get notice and shows people you are prepared to put in the shot.
It may be worth offering deals as very well just to get hold of you started i.e book in for 4 weeks surrounded by advance and get hold of the 5th free etc etc
also referrals are invaluable, so you could proffer discounts for people that refer others to you.
I really dont deliberate that many citizens would be looking on the net for a dog rambler!
theres loads of extravagant things you could do, but start off near the simpe things

good luck!

Try These Websites:

Your best bet are local classified ad as your service is targeted to your local area. Post a interconnect to your site for free where it is allowed (always read the Terms of Use). Examples are:

Craigslist http://www.craigslist.com
G00GLE Base http://base.G00GLE.com
Classifieds for Free http://www.classifiedsforfree.com/......
Text Link Exchange http://www.txtswap.com/
Recycler.com http://www.recycler.com/
Yahoo Classifieds http://classifieds.yahoo.com/
US Free Ads http://www.usfreeads.com/

Check also if your local journalists allow for free classified ad postings online or if near are local web directories within your area.
Depending on your location, craigslist.org is free, and works rather well. I would also answer question on directories pertaining to dogs, and post flyers with rip cards about my service beside every pet store within 10 miles of your location.

Yahoo, http://expo.live.com/default.aspx,... and tons other inexpensive/free directories are available to post your services.

I would also post in classified ad in adjectives your local newspapers. Classifieds are cheap and do work capably.

Dog walkers should also canvass local business owners and connect beside real estate agents. Real estate agents are other looking for additional services to recommend to their clients.

Another point you can do is purchase a jacket, plenty of white T-Shirts, baseball caps, etc next to a saying approaching " I love my certified dog walker" along with your phone number. Give them to your friends, neighbors, parents, anyone you can convince to wear them. Then every where on earth they go, they are a walking poster for your business.

Give away your service for free at local events with drawings.

Connect beside your local chamber of commerce

Advertise in trade magazine classified ads: busy citizens love trade magazines.

Go where on earth other dog walkers don't move about.

Magnetic signs for the side of your car are great, and afterwards gives you an excuse to drive and park your sports car anywhere. Again, use the Call my certified dog walker today, or anything your tag queue is, and your phone number.

You have to do everything you can to shamelessly self-promote your services... and do it next to a smile!
You could try Yahoo groups here is a link to a group I formed touch free to advertise your business here.

Help me answe this for my essay...what does the impact of personalised service on customer loyalty?thanx?

Question:
definition of personalised service
factors of customer loyalty
the relation between personalised service and customer loyalty

Answer:
◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊...

I hold 35 years experience in exposure

The large retailers such as WalMart, Home Depot, and Costco are the surge of the future. The small, mom and pop stores of olden times are dropping at an alarming rate because they cannot compete with the buying power of these mega-stores. Yet, near are niche venues such as Ace Hardware, that still hold a loyal following, as compared to Lowes and Home Depot for the following reasons:

1. More personalized service. The capacity to speak one on one with someone conversant.
2. Easier access, i.e. parking, finding products.
3. Smaller selections, consequently less management issues.
4. Less walking to where you are going. Saves time.
5. You perceive more important contained by a smaller setting.

The concept that you can readily find an employee to serve you was the backbone of the small store years ago. The clan ran the business and know all their customers.
They would spend as much time as called for to complete the sale.
They would also do auxiliary things like home conferral, taking the items to the car or even demonstrating how things should work to keep hold of the customer happy. They realize the value of respectively and every customer and that the needed their recurring business to be successful.
Today's primary chains rely of volume from many different sources and don't own to be dependent upon a few loyal customers. They also use the Internet, media campaign and the lure of the "lowest prices" to bring in the consumer. Because the smaller store can't give or compete on that level, they can solely give terrific service.
I sold Yellow Page ad for 25 years to mostly small businesses. I never worked with the significant stores because they didn't use YP advertising. They used weekly and TV. The mom and pop store were more interested contained by reaching the people directly through the Yellow Pages to connect beside their present and future customers. One final record. Many of the independent stores or service businesses have customer loyalty programs that reward them for using their services. It's another channel to compete with the "big guys."

Hope this adjectives helps. Good luck. I wrote masses a thesis contained by college.
