Ad providers that will work beside a 13 year old-fashioned kid?
Question:
Okay...
I am looking to find an advertiser just to show one or two ad on my site, to possibly fund an IRC host. So far, none of the good ones (by flawless, I mean the ons that you move about to first, as reputable ad dealer i.e. G00GLE, Adbrite) will work with you unless you are 18. I'm one and only 13, and can't find one that will let me use it, and I don't want to achieve into some big legal mess subsequently on. I am looking for pay for click (or general idea, but we're not that big yet), not an ad exchange. Help?
Answers:
I'd suggest getting a parent or guardian to sign on your behalf. They will next be responsible if you forfeit on your contract but if you are trustworthy they may be willing to do it for you.
I doubt most legit firms will work near someone under 18 as you cannot be considered responsible for your own debts until later (ie if they made a contract with you and you messed up on your end of it, they couldn't really win a lawsuit againist you).
Problem for you is that what you ask for wishes a contract - and at age 13 - you cannot enter into a contract.
Question:
Hey everyone, My uncle just passed away and moved out my aunt over 5,000 Comic Books and hundreds of action data (still in the packages) To provide if anything happened to him.
Well we are looking for a well brought-up way to get rid of them and not get ripped sour. One guy came buy the house and needed 1500 books for 200 dollars and one of the books be worth 1,000 dollars buy it self.
Is ebay a good agency to do it??
Anyone ever used e-bay before to vend anything??
Please Help.
Your answers are greatly appreciated!! :-)
Answers:
i would not take them to ebay bc you might not win what they are really worth i would take them to an HONEST collector and ask them how much they are worth and flog them to anther collector bc the collectors will pay for what they are worth and they could be worth alot.
yes ebay is a accurate way to vend things but i just would not provide the comics that way unless they are not worht big bucks.
yup, only just make it a buy it presently lot
I would only provide the valuable items on Ebay individually and the others put on the market as a lot. It make no sense to accumulate adjectives of the 25 cent listing fees on items that don't trade. They add up to big money like a shot. Make sure you check completed auction items (advanced search - completed) to see if they are worth your time fact list, shipping, packing, etc. You may want to come up with a rational price and just move them out and permit someone else do the work. I helped a friend review his collection and nearby were exceedingly few highly collectible issues worth book. Do the research so you don't get ripped sour but realize that Ebay is alot of work.
The comic book market is pretty soft right presently, so do not expect top dollar for something that isnt't truly special. The market go up and down alot year to year.
Action figures may be easier to bring good meaning for, the demand is better and more stable.
Either method, do not expect to get "book" advantage for anything, whether you sell it on Ebay or not. "Book" is nice of like MSRP, nobody really pays that much. That said, price guides can be massively useful to separate what is truly special from adjectives the other crap that is merely collectible. If your collection have items of real meaning (like that $1,000 book) you are probably better off moving it though a gutter that draws true collectors that have legitimate money to spend. There are reputable high-endish shops around the nation, as well as auction houses that enjoy collectibles experience that can probably get you closer to top dollar for sought after items.
If you perfectionism for more info click on my name and email me, I'll support you out and won't offer to buy your collection. Promise.
Well first of adjectives I would do an inventory and then look up the most recent prices for each book. If paperwork are worth under $50 eBay is okay. Just don't start the bidding at $0.00. Sense it seem like a hulking number of books you may need to provide them in lots of 10 to 25 for the ones worth underneath $5.00.
If they are worth more than $50 you may need to find a reputable comic book shop to flog it to.
Of course you can also post these on Craig's list and see if anyone is interested.
I would also turn upside down communities on Live Journal (live journal.com) and post a record (with pictures so they can see the condition) for direct purchase by pay mate.
Action Figures should be fine on EBay. Set up an eBay shop and sell them out. It is a massively good route to go on those. You will want to do some exposure (posting comments or posts) on forums or Live Journal communities where they buy and collect these types of things. With somewhat effort you can liquidate your uncle's collection.
Yes, for a niche item approaching this eBay would probably be best. I mean next to this much stuff you could set up a booth at a comic books show and probably get more, but this take a fair amount of cost, lots of time, and it would really relieve if you knew what these things are worth; so eBay is probably better.
I'd try selling a few at first simply to see how things go, and conceivably not the most expensive ones first either.
Good luck.
The answer depends on how much work you want to put into it. Going through and researching 5,000 comic books is going to steal some time. If you don't have much time to spend, you are better stale shopping the entire lot at local comic book dealers. Don't expect other from these guys and don't sell it to the first place you shift to. These guys are notorious for taking profit of you.
I've personally deal with some imaginative x-men artwork that was offered $50 and $100 from two separate dealer. After some research, we put it on eBay. It ended up selling to a private collector for over $3,000. Don't trust dealer.
How well your comic books will vend for really depends how old they are and what features of condition they are in. As a rule of thumb, anything elder than the 1970's is worth good money. Stuff from the 70's get spotty and depends on what it is. Anything 1980's and newer must be sold in lots. You might as all right them them to the dealer.
If you install your comics by series and put them in instruct, you can do a quick price check on eBay to see how much they enjoy been selling for.
Assuming you don't enjoy first issues, you are better off selling your useful comics on eBay. If you have do enjoy first issues, then call for a high shutting down auction house like Sotheby's as your collection could be surrounded by the $100,000 range. Any of the commodity comics from the 1980's and newer is not worth selling on eBay. The cost of shipping outweighs the efficacy of the comics themselves.
Good Luck,
Bill

2-sided Advertising Flyer--do you flip on vertical or horizontal lip to print?
Question:
I need to design a regular-sized (8 1/2 x 11) exposure flyer (printed on both sides) that will be folded in partly and mailed. Folding the page surrounded by half horizontally, at hand will be a photo on the front, a full page of information inside, and the back will be the address/postage nouns.
My question: should the flyer unfurl to reveal the inside information from the photo side or from the address side? For example, when my customer opens the flyer, should the inside primer be oriented so the customer looks at the photograph on front and consequently opens the flyer to read the inside, OR should the customer spectacle the postage area and after open the flyer to read the inside?
I know this put somebody through the mill relates to whether you flip on the vertical or horizontal edge when printing 2 sides. Is in that an industry standard? Thanks for your help.
Answers:
The customer should look at the postage side first, and depart to the photos and text.
The root is that the outside of the flyer will get excessive wear and shred in the communication, and you want a fresh, clean look to your presentation. By the time they draw from to the back page (bottom of the postage side) the wear and rip won't matter as much.
If the photo is on the "front" and the address is on the "back" when folded, after the flyer would be opened from the photo side. You would print within "landscape" mode to make the photo/address side, and any "landscape" or "portrait" on the information side, as is appropriate for your layout of that side. If the inside is in "portrait" location, it should be printed so the piece is rotated clockwise to turn it right-side-up. The fold would be parallel to the smaller dimension of the sheet. Trust me, you will have to experiment to achieve it right.
I would fold it into 3 equal sections vertically to fashion it look neater...your front side is your intro with a photo...inside would be supporting info & photos with information, and you could even verbs to the first back flap of the brochure...finally your posterior center will include postage area, address, contact info.
Your front panel should unseal to reveal the top of your flier. Also, your mailing panel should be printed head-to-toe next to your front panel, so that the closed (folded) edge of your flier can walk through the mail sorters (plus you just have to trademark it in the middle).

What is the Significance of research surrounded by marketing?
Question:
Discuss the above mentioned topic with quotation to marketing applications including:
- Positioning
- Segmentation
- Product Development
- Market Development
- Pricing
- Placement
Answers:
Ugh! I hate marketing, precisely for their "flea market research." Marketers will tell you that they involve to do market research within order to know what customers have need of and/or want from the product marketspace.
IMO, market research is nil more than a euphemism for telling associates what products they need even when they don't ask. I abhor marketers particularly because they report *me* what I need to buy... I assume I know what I'm looking for in a product, and I'll buy it when I'm appropriate and ready, not when some marketing goon tell me when I'm ready for it.
Sorry for the rant, but I really, really dislike marketers... it's one profession that can turn this n1ce_guy into a meanie. ;->

How come Mickey Mouse appears within the Promotional DVD at Goofy's Kitchen restaurant?
Question:
Did you know the only place that the Mickey Mouse behaviour appears, is inside his "house" on the Disney properties and in the special parade? Yet, when you get the promotional DVD from the Disney company, who do you see running around Goofy's Kitchen, but the biggest mouse himself, Mickey Mouse!
That's false advertising. Even when you christen the Guest services phone reps they tell you near all certitude, that Mickey Mouse NEVER appears anywhere except in his house, and surrounded by the special parades. When I asked why the DVD video shows Mickey contained by Goofy's Kitchen, they couldn't answer, and told me they didn't know why.
But you know why, don't you? So what is your reason? Why does the DVD video show Mickey Mouse surrounded by the Goofy's Kitchen Restaurant? Why would a high competence company like Disney allow such misguided false selling. Their quality control should enjoy caught that.
Answers:
Have you ever seen a movie trailer near seemingly really funny clips. but then it's not contained by the movie itself??
Or have you see a juicy, categorically mouth-watering burger in a TV commercial i.e. as big as your TV screen... but when you truly go buy it, it's a disgusting entity with soggy buns that are flattened, a piece of meat pie that have you yell "where's the beef?", and it looks like Pluto have just pee'd on it?
An even better casing would be someone who procalims that he's a boy in a man's body that never grew up, on the other hand is mature plenty to notice an inconsistency next to an advertising message and competent to make a false promotion claim?
That is why.

I judge I call for oblige next to my Meta tag?
Question:
I am ok about the keywords metatags but I am confused in the order of what I should write as title?? For example if I provide PC repair services and my company name is geekcall.com(example) what could be a perfect title? Should the title have the keywords surrounded by the page content or not?
Also for the description? Should it be exact sentences in my page? Or can the description use different keywords??
Thanks for your oblige.
Answers:
Well, you want the title to have PC repair surrounded by it somewhere. With the example, I would make the title "Geekcall.com | Repairing Your PC". And the description should own facts about what you do. They don't adjectives have to clash up, but at least keep hold of them on the same subject.
The Title or the course book you place in the title sticky label (between the title and and /title) appears in the reverse inn of the browser that is viewing the trellis page. The title is also used to describe your page when someone adds it to their "Favorites" or "Bookmarks" list. So you want to make sure it relates to what you do or how you want family to remember your business.
Some search engines and crawlers support the meta description flap and look at the text, largely, 200 to 250 characters to index it, although only a smaller portion of this amount may be displayed. Remember that scrabble engines change how they treat meta tag at any given time. G00GLE, for example, typically ignores the meta description label and instead will automatically generate its own description for this page based on content from the page that best match the user query. If your meta desciption is the best game for the user query, G00GLE may show that surrounded by its results. Other search engines may support the meta description ticket partially.
The meta keywords flap allows you to provide additional deed for crawler-based search engines to index along near your body copy. Not all of the crawlers support this stub which just reinforces the information contained by the body copy. Remember, if you don't use the specific words on the page at all, later just adding together them to the meta keywords tag is extremely unlikely to facilitate the page rank very well for that term. The certificate in the meta keywords sticker, for the few crawlers that support it, works in conjunction next to the text surrounded by your body copy. The meta keyword tag is also sometimes adjectives as a way to oblige your page come up for synonyms or unusual words that don't appear on the page itself.
You may want to consider some simple algorithms which, when observed and committed in designing of a website near placement of various critical metatags that can surely undertake a high hunt engine presence and increase Internet traffic to your website. These metatag strategies work well beside published webpages at G00GLE and Yahoo.
Design: Should you create an extensive Flash-based website, make sure to fill-in the property entries such as the Title, Description and Keywords. Failing to do so, leaves no complicated HTML or ALT resource that can be readily indexed by search robots. Also consider the Internet audience and their incoming setup. For example, if they are on analog/dialup, Flash webpages transport too long to load up and that`s why analog users will likely lose interest and discontinue entering the Flash site. On the other appendage, anyone on hi-speed DSL lines, will welcome Flash page which load speedily. So before designing a pure Flash websitge, ask the simple press, "Who's my end user - is he on dialup or DSL?" And if you have to choose between these two users for maximum marketability, then select analog users since 80% of most resident users are still analog Internet subscribers and pure HTML designed webpages is best for them.
A non-Flash-based website which relies on intricate text, is far easier to be indexed by query robots. Limit the use of stylized text save as .gifs since as a graphic, they are not indexable by rummage robots.
Avoid use of frames since any number of search robots are inept to properly classify textual material.
Placement of Metatags:
A ranking or rummage through order does whip place with G00GLE and Yahoo and it begin with the "Title" metag which should consist of no more than 65 characters separated by commas. The "Title" should describe surrounded by generic terms, the products and services, followed by a location from which the resource is located, i.e., city, state. The placement of a domain name which is not generic inside the "Title" is not appropriate, unless your domain name is a foremost recognizable brand identify.
The second metatag is the "Description" which is usually 25-30 words to form a complete sentence which best describes one's goods and services.
And the remarkably last category - "Keywords" are also somewhat fixed to 15-16 words which can be plural and compound in outlook. Again, avoid multiple entries which could be mistaken as "spamdexed entries" which is defined as the loading, and submission of repetitive words into a particular metatag category. "Spamdexing" when discovered on a webpage and reported to G00GLE's spamreport.com can result within the elimination of your website from their go through directory.
Here's an example of a very highly-placed website on Yahoo.com: Begin near the search enquiry "pizza downtown los angeles." It will bring up some 1.4 million+ websites as results. Check out where "Pizza Next Door" is rank. It's in the Top Five! Again, Pizza Next Door's glorious web presence be achieved by proper trellis design and placement of relevant metatags according to Yahoo's publication guidelines.
Good luck!

You don't know that it will be used at all, but explicitly the nature of media hype. If it works, you do it again. If it doesn't work--well, that was an expensive lesson!
The same entity is true of television exposure. How can you be certain anyone will really monitor your commercial? If they watch, how can you know that they'll remember the designation of your product? If they remember the name of your product, will they suppose it good or discouraging?
With advertising--you just hold to try several means of getting the word out that your product is right (or better) or the best available.
This is why Madison Avenue (the big advertising agencies) can command so much money!
